That plaid patter on the lobsters is meant to replicate the pattern on the table cloth that is used at bbq's and lobster boils especially in the East.
And the history of that eBay dunk is this...the first pair was auctioned for 26 k and donated in the name of Tim Braunch For the construction of skate parks. Braunch didn't build them. The second pair was cut up and the third was given to a Nike employee upon his leaving the company. The pair was cut up to protect the value of the og pair that was auctioned.

Hey matty! A quick tip is when you are not wearing the orange lobsters i would probably take the band off as I saw someone in instagram learned the hard way that it can crease the toebox as it grips it tight

everything about the ebay dunks was right except the tim braunch part! the pair that sold for 26K, all that money was donated in memory of tim braunch, where they then used that money to build skateparks in oregon
