Luton town: finished 7th in the first division..... few years later : conference/ national league. 2015: get promoted from the conference. 2020 : in the championship beating bristol city 3-0
Lokomotive Leipzig are this year actually champions in their fourth division due a controverse rule. They will have the chance to play in the 3rd division if they win against another champion of one 4th division.
First game in Leipzig 2:2 and 1:1 away. Unfortunately it was not enough for Lokomotive Leipzig. In the first leg, the Leipzig goalkeeper dropped a harmless ball behind the goal line in added time ( 2:1 Lokomotive ). Leipzig previously had 2 injured goalkeepers and then brought this man to the second half of the season. Even though someone was fit again, they preferred to let the new one play, that was a big mistake.
You should do a video on what’s going on with football in Mexico. I know it might not interest many but it’ll help shed light on how corrupt the league and federation are and how they just rip the heart out of communities by constantly relocating football clubs. Not only do they do this, they also breach FIFA rules by having owners own multiple clubs in the same league, the gentleman’s pact where a player who runs down their contract may not negotiate with another club in the league forcing the players to either sign a new contract or find a club abroad. Also they disbanded their second division without (allegedly) notifying the clubs. There’s so much wrong with Liga MX that it baffles me how they consider themselves a first world league.
Money Not much to it really Also im pretty sure 2nd division is still a thing they vetoed that. You also forgot the fact that for a youth player to debut they must first pay a fine

Nice content! I think Belgian side Union Saint-Gilloise (whose stadium you see from 0:48 - 0:55) should've been in this video: - Won the Belgian league 11 times (3rd most successful only after Anderlecht and Club Brugge) - Between 1933 and 1935 they went unbeaten 60 games in a row (in Europe only Celtic managed to do better) - Won their last title in 1935 - Haven't played in the first division of Belgian football since 1973 Speaking of a fallen football giant ;)
HVV The Hague. 10 times Dutch Champion in 1891, 1896, 1900, 1901, 1902, 1903, 1905, 1907, 1910 and 1914. Relegated in 1932 from the old Dutch highest divions prior to the Eredivisie never to return. They are the only team outside the great 3 Ajax, Feyenoord and PSV who won 10 titles. They now play at 7th level!

Suggestion: do a video on clubs who came back to prominence after long periods in the lower tiers of their countries (the best example i can think of is Stade de Reims in France, who were a force in the 50s but spent 30+ years outside of France's top flight before coming back recently).
tbf you could make this list just with German clubs. Most famous examples are HSW Hamburg, 1. FC Nürnberg, 1. FC Kaiserslautern, Dynamo Dresden, Eintracht Braunschweig and 1860 Munich as well as Lokomotive Leipzig which you mentioned. Those are already 6 clubs which I know won titles at some point and are now gone from first tier.
It didn't make the list but Thai Farmers Bank FC is worth a mention 5 Kor Royal Cups, 4 Queen's Cups, a Thai FA Cup and 2 AFC Champions Leagues wins in 13 years of existence(between 1987-2000) before going belly-up
Haha, every football fan in Hungary knows Vasas, not just their fans (one of them being a great friend of mine) - kudos for including them ;) (And, BTW, while we are in Hungary - Debrecen, a club that has been a top-flight fixture for decades, was national champion, beat Hajduk Split 3:0 at home and 5:0 in Split in the EL and appeared in the ECL group stage a little over a decade ago, has just been relegated from the Hungarian top flight... last weekend.
Fortuna Düsseldorf, also a European Cup Winners' Cup finalists (1979 v Barcelona), fell to the fourth level too (from 2002 to 2004). They are the only club in German football to come back to the Bundesliga again after such a deep fall....
In the case of Wacker Innsbruck, I don’t understand how a club’s right to play in their country’s top division (their licence) can be taken away and given to a new club, forcing the now licenceless side to then play in the eighth tier! What is just as nonsensical is how that eighth tier side can suddenly be given back their right to play in the top tier!!

Ipswich town under sir Bobby Robinson was one of the best teams in the world. Winning an fa cup, eufa Cup and came second to Liverpool in the league which is an achievement for anyone in that time period. Ipswich town also missed out on winning the treble by one league game and a loss in the fa Cup semi final. We are now sitting 11th in league one under the likes of Gillingham...
I'd say my beloved local club - Ruch Chorzów - 14 times domestic champion, three times cup winner, 1975 European Cup quarterfinal. Now in third tier, and briefly in fourth tier in Poland.
1. FC Kaiserslautern. Once the best team in germany and one of the best in the world. Revolutioniced football, won a great lot of their games with more than 10 goals. Won the german championship 4x, 2x DFB Pokal, 3x Intertoto Cup, earlier german championships 17x, german super cup once, Deutschland-Cup once. Played in Europa-League and Champions-League, defeating Real Madrid with 5:0, Barca with 3:1 and turned around a 1:3 against Bayern (FCK won with 7:4). Many legendary football-players began their carrer with them (Walter-Brothers, Brehme, Ballack, Labadia, Klose, Tim Wiese, Mark Schwarzer, Ciriaco Sforza and many more) Now theyre in 3rd tier, struggling to not go extinct.
I'm from Austria so I'm of course a bit biased, and you already mentioned a club from Austria, but I think that two clubs from Vienna, Wiener Sportclub and First Vienna FC 1894, would have been worth a mention in this video. Wiener Sportclub is a 3 time Austrian champion, 1 time Austrian Cup winner and 1 time UI-Cup winner, besides reaching the quarter-finals of the European Cup two times, once after beating Juventus 7-0. First Vienna FC 1894 on the other hand are the oldest Austrian football club and are 6 times Austrian champions, 3 times Austrian cup winners, 1 time Mitropa-Cup winners, 2 times UI-Cup winners and also 1 time German Cup winners during WWII. Wiener Sportclub are playing in Regionalliga Ost, Austrias third league, now, while Vienna only plays in the Wiener Stadtliga, the fourth league. Both don't play top-flight football anymore because they suffered financial struggles.
Okay since I keep asking for 7 smallest clubs who have won silverware, I figured I’d change it and ask for 7 biggest clubs who have never won silverware.

That Wanderers Jersey is a masterpiece.
Many legendary football-players began their carrer with them (Walter-Brothers, Brehme, Ballack, Labadia, Klose, Tim Wiese, Mark Schwarzer, Ciriaco Sforza and many more)
Now theyre in 3rd tier, struggling to not go extinct.
Panathinaikos FC:
1971 European cup finalists, only lost to Cruyff's Ajax
2001(?) beat Juventus 3-1 in the Champions League
2021: 5th in Greek League
Forgot to mention Ruch Chorzow. Polish record champion playing currently playing in the 3rd divisiom
Vasas's home is in the 13th district of Budapest, you can tell it is a bad omen :)
Notts forest, Ipswich, Luton and SV Hamburg !
