Twenty five seats is FAR too many for the Lieberals. They need to win only one seat: Trudeau's own, so he can sit there and suffer, and watch all the nonsense he's afflicted us with undone.

The math basically works like this. Take a few of the current polls and figure out the average polling numbers for all parties. Now add the liberal and NDP numbers together, and subtract 20%(so they'd be at 32%). Now take half of that 20%/8 points and add it to the CPC (putting them at 47 in this poll), and split the rest between mostly Bloc and Greens.
So I say go ahead and merge. It'll push the conservatives close to 50%
They are the ones who receive the handouts and we have to bear the burdens.

I know of one person who will never vote conservative no matter what disasters the Libs-NDP unleash.
He's an ideological NDP supporter, in fact more of a champagne socialist and will stand by them no matter what happens.
He told me he's not voting for Singh but for the NDP as a stand against capitalism, of course he works in academia so what can you expect?

I dreamed of Trudeau being a benevolent leader that worked for Canadians and made our country a leader in innovation and trade helping other third world countries get out of poverty and the “middle class” succeed for our children’s future. Hey Wyatt, I’m wondering if the federal Conservative Party is thinking about bringing back in income splitting from the Harper years to promote more creation of families. Right now it’s almost impossible to raise a family on a single income especially seeing as one person who makes 100k married to someone making 0 has to pay more in taxes than a couple who makes 50k despite household income being equal and promoting couples to never having children which will hurt society in 20 years with no more new taxpayers.
