    Love the points and suggestions you made in this video. Hopefully the devs do see this video and maybe use it for some inspiration on what they plan on doing with movement in the future

    Holy moly Maw's alive and didn't get into a traumatic car crash that caused him to be paralyzed from the waist down.
    Jokes aside I do agree with most of the points made in this video, I never really got to play Testing's movement system so I can't get too much into that which is why I heavily agree with Testing's movement as an optional gamemode. But from my experience the watered down version of legacy's movement we had in the first few weeks was quite the let down. Wall running seems like a cool mechanic but its so niche that I doesn't really impact the game all too much but instead of removing the feature entirely I'd personally like to see it be expanded upon.
    As for Oddball and more competative game modes, I do think some sort of system like UTG's would be alot better than the system previously implemented but the problems of Ping and aiming especially with a movement system that relies so much on Camera movement might cause some unforseen problems. Don't get me wrong I love UTG I've clocked in close to 100 hours but I don't think thats the solution here. I don't currently have a perfect solution but I would like to see them experiment with the stealing being client sided.
    I've began to sorta leave Evade and it's community y'know with all the gatekeeping and incredibly toxic individuals. I commend you for staying civil and making actual constructive criticism instead of spewing rage bait slop.
    All in all very cool video great to see the movement community still hanging in there!

      Couldn't have worded it better. I'm straying away from the community primarily because of that rage bait shit that just gets no one anywhere. But I don't want those people and situations representing movement players as a whole. I was completely convinced I'd quit after overhaul, but when I saw good potential in testing's system, I couldn't ignore it.
      Regarding the tag stuff, it's very tricky. On one hand you have tagging by player contact which is super ping based. And on the other, you have aim + click tagging which isn't an issue, but bhopping relies heavily on camera movement. So having either one can be tricky. I feel like if they're gonna cry "bad hitboxes" then aim + click is the only real solution, but I don't know if auto aim or manual aiming is more desirable. Regardless this can be experimented on in the future and shouldn't be a huge issue.
      Anyways, I'm glad to see you're still coming back to check on how we're doing lol. Much appreciated.

    The only reason I ever play legacy is bc I loved the old Bouncing it doesn't feel insanely hard to get a little bit of height off the ramp and bc Overhauls ramps do kinda feel like Route killers

      I think I mentioned it in the video, but although legacy's bouncing feels better, it was never intentional whatsoever. I'm pretty sure the old bouncing is completely just roblox engine jank, so keeping it the same in overhaul while changing to a newer and better engine, is just flat out impossible lol. Their only real alternative (which they're doing) is forcing the bounces. But right now it feels really slow and I'm presuming that's because of the speed limitations in overhaul.
      I don't doubt that bouncing can still feel good in overhaul as it is, but they're gonna have to make it so you're actually capable of gaining speed when you bounce. Testing's system had almost no speed limitations or deceleration, so they were able to keep the newer engine, while still being able to gain speed from bouncing (at least from what I've experienced).

    the developers don't care about movement, I'm more than sure. How their game is still alive?And the idea of ​​making a separate mode sounds very cool. Although I’m not too bothered by the fact that the movement is terrible. Although I like juking better than all this, but it was also made worse. The bots have become much dumber, and the speed is so low, it doesn’t look dynamic like I did it before. Anyway, it’s not for me to judge, but I agree

      I think they care about the movement, just aren't fond of the movement players who just hate everything that isn't their precious legacy system. I don't mind if they wanna keep overhauls current movement in main game, and I advocate for that being the case if they wanna add the fun tag game modes later down the line. But I'd prefer they still keep testing's movement system within a separate game mode instead of binning something with really good potential.

    The maps revamping is pretty bad like most of the ramps just doesnt work if you had high speed when bouncing
    It would be great if they ever add emote fling again and uncaps bouncing speed for 60 fps people and rework Camping spot reduced rewards system when you stand at a spot and it counts(its pretty annoying because every maps difficulties had changed alot)

      The map revamping itself isn't that bad, I think most of the changes were meant for faster speeds in similar vein to testing's system. Obviously these maps don't carry out very well when you switch back to a slower system, just for half these maps to become unfit. And obviously there's some map revamps like crossroads that really just suck.

      We can only hope lol. Unfortunately there's nothing I can do about it, I don't think I have any access to the developers directly whatsoever. I have to just rely on this video reaching them indirectly, or by someone sharing it to them lol

      I don't use any fast flags for evade. I recommend not to, but if I were to use any, I would just do stuff that helps with performance. Stuff like removing grass textures, fog, or any unnecessary visuals. I don't think fast flags like that can get you banned.

      @CrazyMaw yeah, the ones that are performance related are good to use, but those that give advantage over other players, like high jumps or fast bhop/speed are prohibited

      i think most evade movement players who care about camera movement or have good camera movement know who m1ners is, so maw probably knows
