I’m legend, mine ended up a bit shorter and making it taller meant starting all over. Thank you, this was another great lesson.

Great Lesson. I wonder if its possible to setup a spring (coil) with animation showing as part of an assembly of parts, compressing and extending ... 🤔

I appear to do exactly what Paul does but get the error message that can't create a sweep because path is tangent to profile.

Did you really mean December 20, or perhaps November 20?

As promised in this class, I release one video a week. To insure I meet that commitment, I make then ahead, so you will always get one new video a week. Then people complain, why are you making us wait? . . . so you will always get one video a week. Want me to release a years worth of classes all at once, then you never hear from me again?

@@paulmcwhorter Sorry I wasn't aware that you had them scheduled out so far in advance, I thought it was a typo on the month.

Merry Christmas! I decided to just add a support and make two so I can check fit of two different offsets. So, these two elbows both have an offset on the outside surface of the male ends. One has a -.1mm offset. The other has a -.2mm offset. The -.1mm offset is too tight to even get it to insert in the female end. The -.2mm offset is the connection in the last part of the video, which would be good to use if using a plastic solvent to weld them together, like PVC primer liquid, or polymethyl methacrylate monomer. I am looking forward to see how Paul does this without a support. Maybe lay the pipe on its side likely. Thanks for the exercise, Paul!!

I am impressed with the video and graphics! My design was not overly taxing, it is printing now, it is on its side. I am doubtful it will print, I didn't use any supports. One question: did it put supports inside the elbow tube?

@@drdentin3215 Hello, Dr! Thanks for your comment. There were no internal supports. Only what you see in the video. I am sharing this with my staff on our lunch break, and they want to know if Dentin is your last name.

How do you print without supports? The only way I can think of doing it is to cut it in half and then gluing it.

You might be surprised how well this prints without supports.
