Yes Nemophilad is becoming a word LOL they can play any thing and make a good job of it and produce it live have a look at there latest up load of Oiran on the big stage where there having fun .
Their Cover of the Song Given Up by Linkin Park is also really good and the Cover of Zetsobou Billy by Maximum the Hormone is also very good and worth to check out 🤘🏻
That was Babymetals arrangement almost exactly.. just not quite as good.. it was good and it's always a welcome to see a new Babymetal fan , especial a band.. I can imagine that in 20 years from now these Babymetal songs will be standards on every garbage bands playlist..
"Just not quite as good". How do you figure? Saki, Hazuki, Haraguchi-san and Tamu are a match for the Kamis in the studio without a doubt, and this was taken from practice sessions. Mayu has a different voice from Su, which in this context works even better as Mayu's cleans in this register are especially soft, but the difference is Mayu can scream and growl. The bridge is what keeps this song alive, and once we get there with BM it keeps going along nicely, but once we get they with Nemophila, Mayu's screams give it a whole new life and meaning. So "just not quite as good" is a bit of a poor analysis. It's different. Saki, the guitarist on the right, is a big Babymetal fan... who has been making music with girl's J-Metal bands for as long as BABYMETAL have been around. Can't really say they're new fans. I like BABYMETAL, I think it was a great idea, but once you've discovered Aldious, Mary's Blood and even Destrose from before BABYMETAL existed, they lose their lustre just a little. The names to hold in the highest regard are Yoshi, Toki, Rami, Eye, Eri, Saki - this is where Koba got his inspiration and this is where you'll find the true founding spirit of J-Metal.
@@allanmoger1838 not saying they're bad at all , but nobody is gonna do a Babymetal song better than Babymetal.. it's their song.. as far as the studio, just about anybody with enough time can produce a descent song in a studio.. but Babymetals live recordings are better than their studio version.. there's not a lot of bands that can pull that off.. ya know we all have opinions and bands that we favor. .
@@randytrader3026 Ha. Check out Nemophila live with Oiran or Dissension at Naon Yaon. They make BABYMETAL look like the performance art that it is - polished, professional, corporate just not talented balls out metal which is what Nemophila are. Yes, it's clear you have fallen for BABYMETAL's obvious charms, I'm just saying they aren't the gold standard and you should embrace the absolute mountain of brilliant metal to have come out of Japan in the last 15 years or more. Metal that doesn't involve a corporation and a committee to steer their every move.
@@allanmoger1838 I'll check em out and thanks for sending this.. I've been playing keyboards for 30 years in various groups. I appreciate any band that can deliver a live performance as good or if not better than their studio work.. the big bands like Zeppelin, the who , rolling stones, etc. I could care less about em.. they suck at playing live.. which means they're an illusion.. and once again it just my opinion.. lol. I'll check out these bands and get back to ya
@@randytrader3026 if you’re going down that road check out Lovebites and Band-Maid live - they are incredible. Aldious are pretty damn good too - they are mostly a live band and it shows - their music is top notch as well, they write some wonderful tunes. More power metal than core of any kind, but well worth the time.
