Hi there. Dear friend, Brian. How have you been? We celebrated the last month of 2018. Many patients were saved and healed with your lovely train video release and the staff were saved by refreshing exhausted bodies with harsh night work. We will show the optimal rehabilitation effect for children in the general ward and stroke patients, leave the hospital early, go home and return to society, it will invite the patient's family's great joy. Your delivered video helped many patients and their families from the bottom of disappointment and showed a great contribution. Patients and staff will give thanks and hugs from the bottom of my heart. Thanks again. See you soon!!! From Tokyo bay area - Yokosuka city in Japan. Your friend:-)Sawa.
Me too. I made a playlist of street runners from about 6 or seven different states. Check it out if you want. I have a rare one from Franklin, Ohio also
@@JawTooth I live in the UK and I cannot understand how your tracks are not fenced off like here in the UK. Here in the UK, railway lines have huge fences to stop people wandering onto the tracks and maybe getting killed by a train. Do children in the US have special training to let them know than mega ton trains can be dangerous and might hurt them. In the US, you are famous for suing. Do the railroad companies get sued for people getting hurt if they get hit by a train on these unprotected tracks?
Though there are many extinct lines, there are still railways in our country. Combine that with the size of the US, it would be cost prohibited to fence off the lines. Yes, kids are taught to respect the lines, but there are occasional mistakes made. See the movie "Fried Green Tomatoes"...

What's cool about those street trains is if you're at a restaurant that's on that street, you can sit back & watch the trains go by while you eat. 🚂 🍔🍟🍷
CSX trains are efficient and they have excellent computer technology to insure safety they don't seem to see that they are clean like the Ohio trains are but that just my observations since I live about 3 buildings down from a CSX line and I see them everyday

Brian, as a Pennsylvania native and resident, I hear Norfolk Southern passing through my unincorporated community regularly, and I recently heard a Leslie Supertyfon RS5T, which indicates a former Conrail Quality locomotive.
@@JawTooth I read somewhere the caboose cars were at one time used as tool storage ,extra knuckles and such things a train might need and some even had sleeping quarters before the railroads had crew changes
@@michaelmerck7576 Yes, that is true. Back in 1985 when I lived by the railroad a train broke into 3 pieces right next to my house. They were going down a grade and applied the brakes too much which caused 2 couplers to break. The crew asked me to help. I used my car to haul a couple of pieces of steel from the caboose to fix the broken couplers. After that they said hi to me on the radio for a few times when they passed my house. lol
Jaw Tooth I recently rode the Cardinal, it was real fun. I picked it up here in Cincinnati, and rode it up to Dyer, Indiana. But yeah, I live right here in Wyoming, Ohio. Really cool to see other railfans that live close by.

It's a charming bit of nostalgia to see a train with a caboose.
Is there any practical reason the train people add a caboose, or is it just for fun?
It is used as a shoving platform for long reverse moves. It is for the conductor to ride on instead of riding on a railcar
