This clip entails Richard Dawkins, Dan Dennett, Sam Harris, and Christopher Hitchens discussing how science actually works.
Science is not simply a secular religion that works by decree. Science is tested, over and over and over, to extreme degrees, and those hypothesis that don't pass that testing are removed. It actually makes predictions, and is held accountable to those predictions.
Religion has nothing comparable, and is indeed the exact opposite of science. Religion is systematically incomprehensible, and deliberately designed to be immune to refutation. It's all wishful thinking, based on faith, and any prophecy made is easily shown to be false (and subsequently pushed further along to a later time) or a generalized nonsense that your horoscope would put forth.

Religious leaders HAVE made specific, testable, log-shot predictions. Harold Camping, leader of the Family Radio ministry, predicted that the world would end on 21 May 2011. Unlike a scientist, he tried to weasel out of the prediction after it failed, but even so, Hitchens is wrong.
