Nice video. Appreciate it. We don't have any of the easier to adjust Carrier blower motors at the food processing plant I'm at yet. Nice to see that. With respects to to fin straightening video I didn't find it on my phone and believe drive backup would be the same. So I talked to another guy at the plant and he agreed he will hold the phone for me while I demonstrate the techniques. We agreed we will do it sometime this summer. Thanks Jeff
how do you overcome the ladder height? meaning what was it like your first time climbing the ladder onto a roof. this will be my first time in the commercial field coming from residential
Nice video. I wonder if that motor will last til its replaced, or if it'll lock up or give up the ghost in some other fashion before they approve it and you guys get back out there.
That motor should be under warranty shouldn’t it? Also, what do you think originally made that belt stick in the sheeve? Airflow issues made the installers open the sheeve to far to get the amp draw down?
I don't believe the warranty on commercial equipment is very long. We will find out though. Not sure about the belt, probably just worn, 2years on a belt. I like to replace them yearly.
@@HughesManHVAC you are probably right. I was thinking 5 years on that motor and 10 on compressor, but it’s probably 1 on that motor and 5 on compressor.
Sorry for the late response. Lack of airflow will cause the limit switch to trip and it’s pretty common on these RTU’s that the belt may be off or broken.
As a first year these are the exact kind of videos I need in my life right now. Keep it up man!
Glad to hear it!
Delivering superior service, rain or shine. "Every day is a good day if you're still waking up!" Classic.

Awesome 👍 looking forward to it
Heck getting back on that ladder
Envious of the view in this video! Great video, great content.
Great video
Thanks!
I would have thought the VFD control would have tripped a fault before letting that motor get fried.
Nice job Ryan!!
Belts do that a lot when the shive is open too wide and the belt slips in the flat surface rather than the v.
Good one Ryan 👍
Thanks Greg
Man I always worry a about working in the rain. Tools are expensive for me right now lol.
Yeah I hear ya! I have to do it though. Thanks for watching man

Set the ladder up correctly, tied with the correct inclination. Why be afraid if your sure it wont fall.
Always tie it off tight and you’ll get used to it
Always look for power lines
Eco blue very expensive get online to figure troubleshooting not hard to do
Nice, you nailed it with this one! Motor needs to go when looks and sounds like that or you'll be changing it soon enough.
Thanks Steve

We will see, either way it has been written up! Hope you're doing well Winston! Thank for watching man
Did the motor go under the Carrier 5 year parts warranty in a commercial setting? In this situation.
Looks like it’s in WA
Probably felt like it too, thanks for watching
Surprised that belt didn't slap the crap out of everything
Me too Karl
It hurts me that the gauge set is just laying over there. I know, where else are you supposed to put it? But still... It deserves better
What camera are you using to film your video?
Gopro hero 7 black
Watch was the ECM plastic turbine for?
It's the blower for the 2nd unit at that site
How do you like the new style motor on the smaller Carrier? We did a school with several on it. So far do good. Take care buddy.
They seem ok to me, only have seen them on PM's. Thank for watching!
Is the carrier with fan blower, ist new Technology ?
It's been around a few years
@@HughesManHVAC do you know how much it cost for 10 tons packages?

#60 thumbs up
Appreciate that Steve!
Seeing that unorganized van makes me wonder 💭
I know thia video is older but how did the limit switch fault lead you to knowing it was the belt?
