    I love your gardening style. If you can’t kick the hell out of it then stick a power tool on it😂.

    Yes, this is a good time of year to evaluate what worked last year and what didn’t. Thanks for sharing your perennial garden. 🌾🌾🌾

    Lol! I guess temperate is all relative. I grew up in the deep south where it is far too hot for me. Live now in the PacNW, which is also, mostly, a temperate climate, but we are getting more periods of high heat and drought in the summer and, right now, there is no cutting back because everything is still covered with snow from last week's storms. Haven't been able to get down my steep driveway in over a week, but maybe today. Ireland sounds pretty darn great to me. :) You have the perfect solution to hand for any plants you can't fit back into your borders, divide and pot them up and either sell them or offer them as a bonus with another purchase, maybe? Question, my southern magnolia snapped off in the top third of the trunk from the weight of snow and ice. I am doubtful it will really recover from that to be nicely shaped again, but thought I would ask your advice, please. P.s. hope your dog is doing great and just hiding out till it warms up more.

    Thanks very helpful :) wondering if you know anything about willow (not weeping) not sure what variety though but is it ok to have it in a medium sized garden and when should it be pruned....any advice would be welcome.

    • @johnlordssecretgarden
      @johnlordssecretgarden  6 лет назад +1

      Yes it will be ok in a medium sized garden. You can prune it as hard as you want if necessary. Willows will always come back. And you can prune in winter.

      michael gray err - nope, unfortunately I’m not clever enough to write much, the only “writing” I do is via the comments section of RUclips and the odd shopping list - haha - 😁 wondering - did you intend that question for “John Lord’s Secret Garden” rather than me?
