I’m with you on the soap cutting too! Yardley puts out different scents in the fall that are so good! Shugar soap works has a lemon soap at dollar tree that is my favorite!

My daughter reminds me so much of your daughter. She is going to be 22 in August. I don't recall how are going through the men's deodorant phase but I do remember they went through a phase of using men's aftershave as a poem. I can't remember what brand it was where it actually worked really nice on the face.😊💙

I’m 60 and when in high school, we did the same thing, had to have right guard anti perspirant, in the copper color spray can. Omg I might be older but we did strange things in high school.

Note: I am much older than your daughter AND you… but there was absolutely a trend when I was in 7th/8th grade gym class for all the girls to use the men’s Right Guard spray. Why? Who knows?! Crazy but true. This was in the early 70’s. Thank you for prompting me to remember that silliness! Nostalgia is fun. Take care! ❤😊

I'm sorry for my ignorance, but why does junk journaling require to buy so much "junk"? I have nether tried JJ, but I would have thought you could just use stuff and packaging you find around the house, old tickets, craft supplies.. anything. Getting multiples of each also means you will have many similar pages in your jj, no? I'm confused yet fascinated with the whole concept of junk journaling 😄

I don't really go to dollar tree...just cause I don't want to bring stuff home.I ran into today cause we needed socks so grandkids could go to jump and jax..I am for sure telling son to get in there.He invited 70 for the 4th at his lakehouse.They have lots cute 4th decor.
I put a bar of Yardley’s English lavender soap in each of my dresser drawers, so that all of my clothing smells good.

Omg "Time for Bed, Little Chick" was one of my favorite books as a child, and I still have it several decades 🙃 later, but the binding is torn. I have to run to Dollar Tree and see if I can find it!

Hey Marie, have you tried using a potato peeler to see if the soap will curl for using in the mason jar? If it would that could add a cute touch. 16 yr old girls are still using men's deodorant. It's still the trend.
You bought 59 items (58.8) I can’t spend that much in dollar tree my husband would kill me. But I normally pick up signs or wood that I can redo with my cricut, fun times but I will live vicariously through you.

The DT's by me have flipped their card area. Majority of the cards are now $1 each and just a small secrion of 2/$1. I dont like the larger $1 cards as well.
I found a lot of super nice cards at my DG for $2. I know that’s more then 50cents but just wanted to mention it. I only needed a couple so it was worth it to me.
I miss the cute, funny ones. There were a few that were my 'go to' cards. (I had to keep track so no one got them twice, lol!)

Promise I'm not weird, and I never smell, but I haven't used deodorant in 5 years! I'm not a big sweat person, maybe that's why. I'm always cold cuz, anemic. 😮
I rarely needed it til I went thru menopause 🙄🙄🙄🙄
I quit using deodorant when I got breast cancer. It’s toxic! I sometimes use baking soda on a hot day
@@nancybaker6011 is the kind without aluminum still toxic? Thx. I usually use magnesium oil spray as a deodorant. It works ok.
@@dianasimplifies There are still chemicals that we don’t know. When I had breast cancer surgery, they removed several of my lymph nodes under my arm. Any chemicals under your arm will go straight into the nodes. I’m no expert, but I’d rather be safe than sorry. I don’t perspire a lot, but I’d rather smell than get more cancer. LOL
My daughter is 23 and she only uses men’s deodorant because she said it works better 🤷🏼♀️

My oldest daughter i think is just a year older than yours...she's 21 now, will be 22 in July. I dont recall her or any trend in our part of TX of girls wearing mens deodorant. At least she never did anyway
