I've been to a couple of locations where the service wasn't up to CFA standard. But it was STILL better than other fast food places. Even when they're mediocre they're better.
I work in front of house at CFA and it’s so fun being able to check in on everyone in the dining room, giving them extra sauces or refilling their drink. Also gives me a chance to char with them, especially the regulars that come in. And to keep an eye on the dining room to make sure it’s tidy. Just a fun job all in all. You work hard but honestly it’s worth it. The CFA I work at has a great owner and has built such a wholesome team.

Once in Washington DC, I went into a Chick-fil-A and they were giving away free meals to anyone wearing a cow costume. Mobs of very poor children were pouring in, without cow costumes, and the shop gave everyone little cow ear hats to wear so they could say they had a cow costume. The people were so poor you could tell that going to a fast food restaurant was an expense they could NEVER afford. The children were so excited!! It was like Christmas morning for them to be there! I cry now just remembering it. I thought it was the nicest thing I had ever seen a restaurant do. The staff treated each person as if they were royalty. I will FOREVER love Chick-fil-A for doing that.
I went to Chick-fil-a with my mom, and they had someone walking around in the cow suit; the guy was so tall, I asked him if he was my cousin (as a joke) he just gave me a hug and messed with my hair. I was 18, and he read me perfectly because I hugged him back and said Bye Dom when he left. lol 🤷♀️
I find it funny how when Ollie is feeling a bit more chill Josh became more active and became the one making the silly jokes. Real friends right there 😂
Hi Josh and Ollie - In 2025, you can get Chick-fil-A in the UK. The company just announced they will open several Chick-fil-A in London in early 2025. Try it and let us know how it is compared to the Chick-fil-A you had in the US. 😊
My favorite COVID story was when a drive through covid testing center was having a horrible time at keeping everyone organized and it was crazy backed-up , so they called the manager at the local CHick Fil A and they fixed everything in 15 minutes. They also have the most efficient drive through of any fast food :)
The drive thru will literally be piling onto the street at my Chick-fil-a and you’re still out of there in about 5 minutes because it moves SO fast. It’s ridiculous!
its so funny that after all those years of them sharing food, americans suddenly woke up and feel icky about it o-o when hello.. half the time they lived an asian culture where u share food so ofc they would share the same sandwich even XDD especilly when they are family like and are not sick
Every manager at Chick-fil-A is like Jacob. They know how to find good managers and staff, and they know how to retain them. That's an very important part of the Chick-fil-A success story.
Aka they pay them well, have good benefits, and respect everyone. It's not a complicated recipe for creating a successful business, but so many others cut every corner possible.
@@citisoccer actually there pay isn’t that incredible. Most employees make between 12-14 an hour with leaders making between 15-17 an hour usually. They do give you a 9.50 break meal every shift tho.

I love how the guys addressed that some people would take offense in their sharing everything like lovers. If that affronts someone, it's their problem. I think Josh's and Ollie's friendship is beautiful and the fact that they don't shy away from showing how close they are shows that they are secure and comfortable in their own skin.
I think it's gross but wouldn't consider it "my problem" or a problem at all lol. And I never associated sharing bites with being lovers. I love my friends too, but don't consider it an insecurity issue if I don't want to share saliva.. Being the sandwich is only a few bucks I don't think it's odd to wonder why they don't each get their own lol.

I was surprised they didn't mention the fresh flowers. I've never been in a Chick-fil-A where they didn't have a bud vase with a fresh flower on every table.

The three reasons people go to Chik-Fil-A more than almost any other fast-food restaurant are their universally excellent service standards, incredibly efficient drive-thrus, and surprisingly good food. The commitment to being closed on Sundays does annoy some people, but I don’t think I’ve ever heard someone who likes their food actually condemn them for upholding that standard.
Worked there for five years and I loved having a guaranteed day off. There was only one sunday I ever worked and it was when a snow storm hit. Manager called everyone saying "Don't do it if it would be dangerous, but if anyone is available to come in we are going to cook some food and give it away on the highway where people are stuck. They said it would take 6 hours to clear everyone out." So I think 6 of us ended up making it in and we had enough to make over 300 sandwiches and passed them out. My toe and fingers were frozen but worth it.
We don't have Chick-fil-A in my country. But I went to try it for the first time several years ago (few months ago before covid) and was surprised with: 1. How nice the people there. Every workers were super pleasant. 2. How the food tasted pretty good. 3. They're just the nicest. Seriously.
I’ve literally seen Chick-fil-a employees change a customer’s car tire. At my location, they walk around the restaurant to your table and give you refills and extra sauce if you need it. During breakfast, there is constantly someone walking around with a pot of coffee to fill up anyone’s coffee cup. 100% the best service of any fast food, and it’s not even close.
As a current employee of Chick-Fil-A, the lettuce and tomatoes were absolutely fresh. We get shipments nearly every morning. The lemonade and tea were also made fresh that day. I'm glad you enjoyed it! (next time, try the mac and cheese)

My dad was a mall manager back in the 80s. He was getting ready to sign Chick FIL a as a tenant inside the mall. However he had a concern where they were closed on Sundays whereas other food tenants were open. The representative said "Sir, we will outsell all your other tenants combined open only six days a week." He was good to his word.
I worked at Chick-Fil-A for a few months and I can attest to the absolute freshness of the ingredients. The lemonade is only 3 ingredients: lemons, water, and sugar or sugar free sweetener. It is the best lemonade on the planet. I still swing by the one I worked at every now and then an pick up a couple of gallons to take home.
The basic chicken sandwich has over 50 ingredients which includes two forms of MSG , soybean oil and food coloring. The msg is designed to be addicting and horrible for your health.
We have dips in the UK, I think it’s just that they thought the dips were just for the nuggets and fries as usually a burger would have the sauce on it etc
I think dips in most countries are usually meant for fries and nuggets. Dipping a whole burger is bizarre but I would love to try that out next time I'm going for fast food burger.
I ate at the very first Chick-fil-a in Greenbriar Mall in Atlanta in 1967 with my new girlfriend. It was near my high school and it quickly became very popular. For many years, they were only in malls, then gradually moved to free standing stores. I later married that girlfriend and in June of this year we will have been married 50 years. I am thinking of taking her to Chick-fil-a to celebrate.
I remember the first one that opened where I live in the mall. My friends and I loved it from minute one, And the food has not changed one bit since the late seventies as far as I can tell.
I worked at Chick-fil-a for 7 years before I graduated college. I am proud of how it was represented here. I don't want to work food service again, but I am very grateful to have worked there when I did. They treated me very well, which is weird to say regarding a fast food restaurant. They even gave me (or anyone with enough hours worked) a $1000 scholarship for college. I completely agree with everything you guys said about the food and the service, that's what they are known for. Best thing not on the menu is a large waffle fry with a side of the cream cheese they use for the bagels during breakfast. It may sound odd, but it's a bit like having really good cheese fries with ranch dressing on top; it's cheesy with a subtle tang.
Know that they discontinued the bagels back in I believe 2020/21(?) but if you want cheese fries we do offer now a cheese sauce (a white cheddar cheese) and it’s super good!! -current CFA manager

I've been working a while now too. They really are THE BEST Fastfood place (at least compared to In-n-Out) that treat their employees with respect. Considering Wendys, McDonalds, and even Burgerking for a week (when I was a teen), I always have fond memories of Chickfila. Considering people try hating on them for the beliefs of others though, genuinely upsets me. Since they can't separate between the Individuals and the Corporation. But ultimately, Chickfila is one of THE BEST companies to work for. ESPECIALLY for a 1st time Job!
Chick-fil-a has the best customer service of ANY fast food place, anywhere. And it’s like that at every location. It’s astonishing and truly refreshing. Their chicken just also happens to be delicious. 😊
So I am a chick fil a employee and the reason everything was so good was because we make everything fresh. That chicken is real chicken cooked freshly the lettuce and tomatoes are real ingredients cut fresh that day the tea was freshly brewed that very morning and the lemonade was mixed early that morning and stored in a cooler till it was ready to be served. Also our number one priority is our customers we always do our best to make you happy that is why Jacob checked in at the end usually we also check in once it twice throughout the meal just in case you might need something such as extra sauce or a refill. Chick fil a sets a higher standard for our employees than other restaurants do and I am glad we made a good impression on you guys.

@@adnankazim88 Yes so when I went through the hiring process the way they picked me had nothing to do with ability that is what trainers are for they hire employees based on what kind of personality they have if they guy being interviewed is a jerk his chances of being hired are less than zero on the other hand it you are a really good person who gets along with people and is very nice to everyone you have a very likely chance of being hired. After all they want their staff to get along with each other and the number one store policy is to make it a pleasant experience for our customers so we will hire someone with no talent but who is a good person and wants to learn over a guy who is amazing at everything he does but is a total jerk.

Chick-fil-A is seriously next level. Yes it’s a little more steeply priced than everywhere else BUT the quality of the food AND the service is unmatched. They have perfected the drive thru process. A 30 car drive thru will be served in a quarter of the time it would be at Popeyes or kfc or any other fast food. Glad y’all enjoyed it!

It's cheaper than McDonald's! I don't know why everyone thinks chick FIL a is expensive lol. Maybe just because they don't have a dollar menu? But like one meal off McDonald's regular menu literally comes out to nearly $13 and a #1 at chick FIL a is $8 after tax

This might sound silly, but i could watch an hour-long video of these two eating, especially Josh. He's so expressive, especially when it comes to food he likes. I honestly watched the "sugar overload" on them both about 10 times, and Olly's eyelid fluttering was ADORABLE!! You guys' videos cheer me up. 😊
I am a Chick-fil-a employee. We do put a lot of sugar in the tea and lemonade. The number one deluxe is my favorite entree. The cookies and cream milkshake is made with real Oreo crumbles. And we do try very hard to be the best at customer service. I am glad you enjoyed it.

A lot of y’all have to realize that they have a reason to be happy. They get PAID. Most other restaurant places do not have the level of service or food quality because they’re paid significantly less, which is what also makes they’re food cheap.
@@PhysicallyAwake It's amazing how few businesses catch on to this... I would say the exact same thing about shopping at Trader Joe's. The employees are ALWAYS super friendly, and actually try to help you if you're looking for something. They express genuine disappointment if they're unable to help you. McDonald's definitely has the capital to pay it's employees just as well.
Chick-fil-A is the ONLY fast food chain I've worked at that I left still wanting to eat there. I feel good eating there knowing how strict they are with procedures and standards. They had people scheduled to come in JUST to cut and squeeze lemons. No joke.
If you think Chick-fil-A is the bomb diggity, You need to travel outside your bubble. What you experience as great is mediocre to the rest of the world. I encourage travel. It opens not only minds, but pallets.

Chick-fil-A worker here! I work in the kitchen, everything is hand breaded and fried in store. Served so well! Also, a quick fun fact, the autumn spice is called that specifically because there is no pumpkin in it! 🙃😊
As someone who works at Chikfila, they’re trained to be sociable, but most of the people there are actually really just nice people in general. You have to be a people person to work FOH. Even BOH is expected to provide customer service if given the opportunity, and we try. Usually if I’m off a shift and I see someone waiting for a refill, I’ll usually go and refill it myself, to make things easier for the customer and FOH. It gets busy sometimes and there’s not always enough hands up front.
Yeah, I think the food there is middle tier, but every time I eat there, I walk out continually impressed with how well they are run. Most fast food places, the person taking your order just stares at you blankly when you get to the counter and doesn't even bother to greet you. When the transaction is done and I thank them, they don't respond. Chick-fil- is the exact opposite. Great service every time.
It's all about the grilled nuggets and frosted lemonade! The mac and cheese reminds me of elementary school mac so it's super nostalgic for me personally
I've had Chic-Fil-A in Texas and California. The staff are so friendly. Their customer service was exceptional. Their locations were spotless. The food is delicious. Also sometimes you feel the food is at a higher quality than other fast food joints. The only downside I think we've faced is the fact that if you ever crave it on a Sunday, you need to change your plans xD I wish they were able to go international.

I worked at Chick-Fil-A for 5 years and this has to be my favorite review of our food! Chick-Fil-A is so common in the south we don't often get to see people trying it for the first time, glad you guys enjoyed it! (By the way the A stands for grade A chicken, it's to show the quality of the ingredients we put in our food) :)
I just tried Chick-fil-A like a year and a half ago because I live in Vermont and we don’t have one here and oh my God it is the most delicious thing I’ve ever had in my life and I think I’m going tomorrow and I’m so excited 😂😂
I guess I never thought about it before that not everyone has a Chick-Fil-A because I live in the south and I remember when they were originally in the malls only and there was always someone standing outside their section of the food court with a tray of cut up nuggets with toothpicks in them giving out free samples so that you would go there and give them a try. LOL I guess it has just always been a part of my life, it has just gotten easier now that they have iPhone apps and stand alone stores LOL But I imagine that how people talk about Chick-Fil-A and how good it is and that is what I hear about What-a-Burger and that is something that we done have on the east coast. Makes me curious if they are as good as Cook Out because that would be doubtful 😂

Hi Josh and Olly! I’m so glad that you enjoyed going to Chick-Fil-A so much, I’m actually a team member/trainer at my local CFA out in Kansas. I thought I’d answer some of your comments for fun! First off, the #1 sandwich only looks weird because of the packaging. It looks just as good as the #2 deluxe before it goes into the packet. The claw boxes are a lot harder to source and more expensive for corporate so we simply use the packets for any sandwich that does not have lettuce or tomato on it. Pro tip! If you want your sandwich to look beautiful every time, add on some lettuce or tomatoes! Our produce is always fresh, our amazing kitchen heads receive shipments at least 3 times a week with fresh produce which is then prepared daily by our incredible kitchen staff. As for the shakes, I don’t think that the Autumn Spice Shake actually had any pumpkin in it? When preparing it we used a syrup and a cookie crumble, but I don’t remember pumpkin being among the ingredients. The Cookies and Cream shake does use an Oreo crumble that breaks down a little bit during blending, but not too much. I’m glad you liked it! It’s my personal favorite! The lemonade is homemade! We make at least 120 gallons of it in-store every day, usually more! Finally, Jacob did do a great job of coming and checking in with you during your meal! We actually ask our team members to check in with our guests periodically. Our team members are held to very high standards no matter what position they are working in that day. According to my HR Director only 7% of applicants nationwide are selected to work at CFA. Again I’m so glad that you enjoyed your time at CFA, next time I HIGHLY suggest the Grilled Club Sandwich with the Honey Roasted Barbecue sauce! It’s one of my absolute favorites!
The "pumpkin" drama was a reference to Starbucks getting sued because their "pumpkin spice" didn't have any pumpkin in it, and somehow losing that court battle, forcing them (hilariously) to have to include actual pumpkin in their pumpkin spice. Of course, anyone who bakes knows "pumpkin spice" is just a blend of spices that taste good when added to pumpkins, and not a spice that comes from pumpkins, but the court seemed to think that was no longer common knowledge, and "pumpkin spice" was ruled false advertising. So the Jolly crew were never under the impression that pumpkin was in the milkshake. They were joking that the shake was named something that couldn't be confused with an actual ingredient (autumn) for legal purposes.
The PERFECT time to go to Chick-fil-A is 10:15 in the morning. You get a few breakfast items, nom on those. Than at 10:30 lunch is served. Btw, milkshakes you can get as Chick-fil-A opens up.
The trick to the extremely juicy chicken is the high quality control and the pressure fryers that they use. I work at a Chick fil a. Everything is fresh and hand breaded. The chicken is frozen but we don't keep it for more of a day or 2 in the freezer just easier to transport that way.

I about died when he took his 1st sip of the sweet tea 😂 As I sit here watching this with my CFA sweet tea! I am born and raised in the south and I even have to ask for a quarter of unsweet to be added to a Chick-fil-A sweet tea 😅😂🤣 And so glad they tried the classic chicken sandwich 🐔 🍗 it looks so plan and dull but is absolutely fabulous‼️ Just found these 2 and I just love them so much! They are so sweet and genuine! 🙌👏❤️
2 things about Chick-Fil-A that stand clear above the competition apart from the fabulous food.... 1. The Service. The atmosphere and the general attitude of the staff is unmatched. 2. The Drive Thru. Chick-Fil-A runs a drive thru like a team of physicists developed it. A line with 20 cars ahead of you might take up 4-5 minutes of your day.
*as long as you're not at the Norwalk, CT location where you can be stuck in the drive thru for over 20 minutes in a line like that. I wish it was the exception more than the norm. 🙄
I jumped out of my skin when I realized that this is my childhood Chick-fil-A! I don’t live there anymore but it’s good to see that one of my favorite places is still around 😊 also the Chick-fil-A sauce is one of my favorite things on this earth…same with the lemonade. This Jolly youtube feature of Brits try Chick fil A for the first time features some Chich Fil A items that have some inviting food, the polynesian sauce gives the chicken and the waffle fries an added taste enhancement (though I would have also enjoyed their-Josh and Olly's- take on the yummy honey mustard and ranch sauces). The feature of Josh & Olly trying their Autumn Spice milkshakes and Cookies and Cream milkshakes with the cherries on top is an added highlight, I had to chuckle with happiness when the waffles fries were being put into the milkshake (the Bokksu Japan brief is also amusing).
I just recently tried the restaurant for the first time because the closest one to where I live is about 40 minutes away. I was in my car and went through the drive-thru. I didn't know that the sauces came separately and I thought it was kind of a waste. Now I get the idea but it still is not good food for eating when you're on the road
If sugar content is a concern, Chick-fil-A also sells unsweetened ice tea and diet lemonade, and those are good options as well! Fun episode! Chick-fil-A really does have tasty food! :)
I really miss full-fat Sprite (the regular has reduced sugar here in the UK), it really brought out the lime! The citrus Mountain Dew is pretty close, once you get used to the caffeine aftertaste!
Starting work at CFA was one of the best decisions I made in high school. My coworkers, managers, and restaurant guests were all wonderful and I genuinely enjoyed my shifts. It's definitely the best fast food chain in America.
Only recently started going to there since I'm in Chicagoland and yes, the staff is refreshingly friendly. Love your English pronunciation of "Sa-von-ah".
My favorite experience at chick fil a is when I was walking in there was chickfila workers walking in behind me so I held the door for them and they said “thank you” and I said “my pleasure” and they both started dying of laughter.
As a Georgian, I’m glad you guys got to enjoy a hint of our southern hospitality. CFA is on a different scale and it should not be compared to other fast food franchises.
My husband worked at a children's home, as a counselor, and Chick-Fil-A had a huge Christmas party for them. It was so much fun, and the children loved it. I can't say enough great things about the company and the Cathy family. My son-in-law worked for them for 5 years and they helped him through college. Great company.
The lemonade is homemade, we make new batches everyday with real lemons! It was actually one of my least favorite things to make but I’m glad people enjoy it! And I hate how overly sweet American drinks are too! 😝
This is why my favorite lemonade is just drinking concentrated lemon juice from the squeeze bottles used for cooking. I want my lemon drink to taste like lemons.

I worked at Chick Fil A For 10 Months and I shall inform you we get fresh lettuce and tomatoes and other produce almost every day to every other day and we prep everything that same day. 🥰 that’s why it’s so fresh. Same with the bread it’s almost every other or every three days. I loved working there. I worked in the kitchen and it cool to see they standard and managers overseeing to make sure everything goes well. Good work ethic and treatment of their workers. ☺️
My absolute favorite sandwich from Chick-fil-A is their original with just the pickles and butter. And, I like spicy food. Just the simplicity and the comforting spice and herb level is just perfection.
I love how even Englishmen acknowledge the high service standards of Chick-fil-a. They're kind of known for that here in America, like they're probably considered the best service a fast-food chain can offer, so much so that it's even become a meme that Chick-fil-a workers will go above and beyond for you😅
I liked Ollie's response, though. "The only time the manager comes up to you in a fast food restaurant in the UK is is you're peeing in the corner." That one about killed me!

This is actually a pretty standard CFA practice! I worked at CFA for a year and a half. It’s called second mile service! (Going the extra mile). It’s not always the person who took your order, but they actually have people who are assigned to the dining room as a “host”. They are primarily responsible for making sure everything the guests are around is clean and they are also primarily responsible for making sure the guests are having a good experience. They have to periodically go around to everyone and ask them if everything with their meal is going well and offer to get them refills on drinks or get anything else they may have forgotten or need like napkins, forks, ketchup, more sauces etc. Pretty cool! Very different from most fast food restaurants.
Having most of my that are from England, I find these chaps very funny; I was born in Seattle. I just have a grin on my face when I watch their videos. The content is awesome as well.
The funniest part is at the end, because they don’t realize that EVERY Chikfila has that level of customer service!
I've been to a couple of locations where the service wasn't up to CFA standard. But it was STILL better than other fast food places. Even when they're mediocre they're better.

I work in front of house at CFA and it’s so fun being able to check in on everyone in the dining room, giving them extra sauces or refilling their drink. Also gives me a chance to char with them, especially the regulars that come in. And to keep an eye on the dining room to make sure it’s tidy. Just a fun job all in all. You work hard but honestly it’s worth it.
The CFA I work at has a great owner and has built such a wholesome team.

As a former employee of Chick-fil-A, I was confirm the lemonade is 100% homemade. I used to squeeze the lemons in the morning and make it for the day.

Once in Washington DC, I went into a Chick-fil-A and they were giving away free meals to anyone wearing a cow costume. Mobs of very poor children were pouring in, without cow costumes, and the shop gave everyone little cow ear hats to wear so they could say they had a cow costume. The people were so poor you could tell that going to a fast food restaurant was an expense they could NEVER afford. The children were so excited!! It was like Christmas morning for them to be there! I cry now just remembering it. I thought it was the nicest thing I had ever seen a restaurant do. The staff treated each person as if they were royalty. I will FOREVER love Chick-fil-A for doing that.

I went to Chick-fil-a with my mom, and they had someone walking around in the cow suit; the guy was so tall, I asked him if he was my cousin (as a joke) he just gave me a hug and messed with my hair. I was 18, and he read me perfectly because I hugged him back and said Bye Dom when he left. lol 🤷♀️

My favorite COVID story was when a drive through covid testing center was having a horrible time at keeping everyone organized and it was crazy backed-up , so they called the manager at the local CHick Fil A and they fixed everything in 15 minutes. They also have the most efficient drive through of any fast food :)

Every manager at Chick-fil-A is like Jacob. They know how to find good managers and staff, and they know how to retain them. That's an very important part of the Chick-fil-A success story.

In-N-Out is pretty much the same way.
Aka they pay them well, have good benefits, and respect everyone. It's not a complicated recipe for creating a successful business, but so many others cut every corner possible.
@@citisoccer actually there pay isn’t that incredible. Most employees make between 12-14 an hour with leaders making between 15-17 an hour usually. They do give you a 9.50 break meal every shift tho.

I love how the guys addressed that some people would take offense in their sharing everything like lovers. If that affronts someone, it's their problem. I think Josh's and Ollie's friendship is beautiful and the fact that they don't shy away from showing how close they are shows that they are secure and comfortable in their own skin.
I think it's gross but wouldn't consider it "my problem" or a problem at all lol. And I never associated sharing bites with being lovers. I love my friends too, but don't consider it an insecurity issue if I don't want to share saliva.. The three reasons people go to Chik-Fil-A more than almost any other fast-food restaurant are their universally excellent service standards, incredibly efficient drive-thrus, and surprisingly good food. The commitment to being closed on Sundays does annoy some people, but I don’t think I’ve ever heard someone who likes their food actually condemn them for upholding that standard.
As an employee, I’m sure not having to work on Sundays is so nice! Everyone deserves a break.
Worked there for five years and I loved having a guaranteed day off. There was only one sunday I ever worked and it was when a snow storm hit. Manager called everyone saying "Don't do it if it would be dangerous, but if anyone is available to come in we are going to cook some food and give it away on the highway where people are stuck. They said it would take 6 hours to clear everyone out." So I think 6 of us ended up making it in and we had enough to make over 300 sandwiches and passed them out. My toe and fingers were frozen but worth it.

We don't have Chick-fil-A in my country. But I went to try it for the first time several years ago (few months ago before covid) and was surprised with:
1. How nice the people there. Every workers were super pleasant.
2. How the food tasted pretty good.
3. They're just the nicest. Seriously.
I’ve literally seen Chick-fil-a employees change a customer’s car tire. At my location, they walk around the restaurant to your table and give you refills and extra sauce if you need it. During breakfast, there is constantly someone walking around with a pot of coffee to fill up anyone’s coffee cup.
100% the best service of any fast food, and it’s not even close.

As a current employee of Chick-Fil-A, the lettuce and tomatoes were absolutely fresh. We get shipments nearly every morning. The lemonade and tea were also made fresh that day. I'm glad you enjoyed it! (next time, try the mac and cheese)

My dad was a mall manager back in the 80s. He was getting ready to sign Chick FIL a as a tenant inside the mall. However he had a concern where they were closed on Sundays whereas other food tenants were open. The representative said "Sir, we will outsell all your other tenants combined open only six days a week." He was good to his word.

I worked at Chick-Fil-A for a few months and I can attest to the absolute freshness of the ingredients. The lemonade is only 3 ingredients: lemons, water, and sugar or sugar free sweetener. It is the best lemonade on the planet. I still swing by the one I worked at every now and then an pick up a couple of gallons to take home.
The basic chicken sandwich has over 50 ingredients which includes two forms of MSG , soybean oil and food coloring. The msg is designed to be addicting and horrible for your health.
I laughed out loud when I saw Josh's reaction to the southern style sweet tea (where it's not sweet tea unless it gives someone diabetes)

I ate at the very first Chick-fil-a in Greenbriar Mall in Atlanta in 1967 with my new girlfriend. It was near my high school and it quickly became very popular. For many years, they were only in malls, then gradually moved to free standing stores. I later married that girlfriend and in June of this year we will have been married 50 years. I am thinking of taking her to Chick-fil-a to celebrate.

I worked at Chick-fil-a for 7 years before I graduated college. I am proud of how it was represented here. I don't want to work food service again, but I am very grateful to have worked there when I did. They treated me very well, which is weird to say regarding a fast food restaurant. They even gave me (or anyone with enough hours worked) a $1000 scholarship for college. I completely agree with everything you guys said about the food and the service, that's what they are known for. Best thing not on the menu is a large waffle fry with a side of the cream cheese they use for the bagels during breakfast. It may sound odd, but it's a bit like having really good cheese fries with ranch dressing on top; it's cheesy with a subtle tang.
Know that they discontinued the bagels back in I believe 2020/21(?) but if you want cheese fries we do offer now a cheese sauce (a white cheddar cheese) and it’s super good!! -current CFA manager

Considering Wendys, McDonalds, and even Burgerking for a week (when I was a teen), I always have fond memories of Chickfila.
Considering people try hating on them for the beliefs of others though, genuinely upsets me. Since they can't separate between the Individuals and the Corporation.
But ultimately, Chickfila is one of THE BEST companies to work for. ESPECIALLY for a 1st time Job!

So I am a chick fil a employee and the reason everything was so good was because we make everything fresh. That chicken is real chicken cooked freshly the lettuce and tomatoes are real ingredients cut fresh that day the tea was freshly brewed that very morning and the lemonade was mixed early that morning and stored in a cooler till it was ready to be served. Also our number one priority is our customers we always do our best to make you happy that is why Jacob checked in at the end usually we also check in once it twice throughout the meal just in case you might need something such as extra sauce or a refill. Chick fil a sets a higher standard for our employees than other restaurants do and I am glad we made a good impression on you guys.

@@adnankazim88 Yes so when I went through the hiring process the way they picked me had nothing to do with ability that is what trainers are for they hire employees based on what kind of personality they have if they guy being interviewed is a jerk his chances of being hired are less than zero on the other hand it you are a really good person who gets along with people and is very nice to everyone you have a very likely chance of being hired. After all they want their staff to get along with each other and the number one store policy is to make it a pleasant experience for our customers so we will hire someone with no talent but who is a good person and wants to learn over a guy who is amazing at everything he does but is a total jerk.

Chick-fil-A is seriously next level. Yes it’s a little more steeply priced than everywhere else BUT the quality of the food AND the service is unmatched. They have perfected the drive thru process. A 30 car drive thru will be served in a quarter of the time it would be at Popeyes or kfc or any other fast food. Glad y’all enjoyed it!

I am a Chick-fil-a employee. We do put a lot of sugar in the tea and lemonade. The number one deluxe is my favorite entree. The cookies and cream milkshake is made with real Oreo crumbles. And we do try very hard to be the best at customer service. I am glad you enjoyed it.

As someone who works at Chikfila, they’re trained to be sociable, but most of the people there are actually really just nice people in general. You have to be a people person to work FOH. Even BOH is expected to provide customer service if given the opportunity, and we try. Usually if I’m off a shift and I see someone waiting for a refill, I’ll usually go and refill it myself, to make things easier for the customer and FOH. It gets busy sometimes and there’s not always enough hands up front.
Yeah, I think the food there is middle tier, but every time I eat there, I walk out continually impressed with how well they are run. Most fast food places, the person taking your order just stares at you blankly when you get to the counter and doesn't even bother to greet you. When the transaction is done and I thank them, they don't respond. Chick-fil- is the exact opposite. Great service every time.

I've had Chic-Fil-A in Texas and California. The staff are so friendly. Their customer service was exceptional. Their locations were spotless. The food is delicious. Also sometimes you feel the food is at a higher quality than other fast food joints. The only downside I think we've faced is the fact that if you ever crave it on a Sunday, you need to change your plans xD I wish they were able to go international.

I worked at Chick-Fil-A for 5 years and this has to be my favorite review of our food! Chick-Fil-A is so common in the south we don't often get to see people trying it for the first time, glad you guys enjoyed it! (By the way the A stands for grade A chicken, it's to show the quality of the ingredients we put in our food) :)
I just tried Chick-fil-A like a year and a half ago because I live in Vermont and we don’t have one here and oh my God it is the most delicious thing I’ve ever had in my life and I think I’m going tomorrow and I’m so excited 😂😂
I guess I never thought about it before that not everyone has a Chick-Fil-A because I live in the south and I remember when they were originally in the malls only and there was always someone standing outside their section of the food court with a tray of cut up nuggets with toothpicks in them giving out free samples so that you would go there and give them a try. LOL
I guess it has just always been a part of my life, it has just gotten easier now that they have iPhone apps and stand alone stores LOL
But I imagine that how people talk about Chick-Fil-A and how good it is and that is what I hear about What-a-Burger and that is something that we done have on the east coast. Makes me curious if they are as good as Cook Out because that would be doubtful 😂

Hi Josh and Olly! I’m so glad that you enjoyed going to Chick-Fil-A so much, I’m actually a team member/trainer at my local CFA out in Kansas. I thought I’d answer some of your comments for fun! First off, the #1 sandwich only looks weird because of the packaging. It looks just as good as the #2 deluxe before it goes into the packet. The claw boxes are a lot harder to source and more expensive for corporate so we simply use the packets for any sandwich that does not have lettuce or tomato on it. Pro tip! If you want your sandwich to look beautiful every time, add on some lettuce or tomatoes! Our produce is always fresh, our amazing kitchen heads receive shipments at least 3 times a week with fresh produce which is then prepared daily by our incredible kitchen staff. As for the shakes, I don’t think that the Autumn Spice Shake actually had any pumpkin in it? When preparing it we used a syrup and a cookie crumble, but I don’t remember pumpkin being among the ingredients. The Cookies and Cream shake does use an Oreo crumble that breaks down a little bit during blending, but not too much. I’m glad you liked it! It’s my personal favorite! The lemonade is homemade! We make at least 120 gallons of it in-store every day, usually more! Finally, Jacob did do a great job of coming and checking in with you during your meal! We actually ask our team members to check in with our guests periodically. Our team members are held to very high standards no matter what position they are working in that day. According to my HR Director only 7% of applicants nationwide are selected to work at CFA. Again I’m so glad that you enjoyed your time at CFA, next time I HIGHLY suggest the Grilled Club Sandwich with the Honey Roasted Barbecue sauce! It’s one of my absolute favorites!
The "pumpkin" drama was a reference to Starbucks getting sued because their "pumpkin spice" didn't have any pumpkin in it, and somehow losing that court battle, forcing them (hilariously) to have to include actual pumpkin in their pumpkin spice. Of course, anyone who bakes knows "pumpkin spice" is just a blend of spices that taste good when added to pumpkins, and not a spice that comes from pumpkins, but the court seemed to think that was no longer common knowledge, and "pumpkin spice" was ruled false advertising.
So the Jolly crew were never under the impression that pumpkin was in the milkshake. They were joking that the shake was named something that couldn't be confused with an actual ingredient (autumn) for legal purposes.

The trick to the extremely juicy chicken is the high quality control and the pressure fryers that they use. I work at a Chick fil a. Everything is fresh and hand breaded. The chicken is frozen but we don't keep it for more of a day or 2 in the freezer just easier to transport that way.
Watching these lads have their minds blown over and over is hilarious I tell you 😂
You can't get it year round, but when peaches are in season they have a peach shake that is head and shoulders above their other shakes.

I am born and raised in the south and I even have to ask for a quarter of unsweet to be added to a Chick-fil-A sweet tea 😅😂🤣 And so glad they tried the classic chicken sandwich 🐔 🍗 it looks so plan and dull but is absolutely fabulous‼️ Just found these 2 and I just love them so much! 2 things about Chick-Fil-A that stand clear above the competition apart from the fabulous food.... 1. The Service. The atmosphere and the general attitude of the staff is unmatched. 2. The Drive Thru. Chick-Fil-A runs a drive thru like a team of physicists developed it. A line with 20 cars ahead of you might take up 4-5 minutes of your day.
*as long as you're not at the Norwalk, CT location where you can be stuck in the drive thru for over 20 minutes in a line like that. I wish it was the exception more than the norm. 🙄

I jumped out of my skin when I realized that this is my childhood Chick-fil-A! I don’t live there anymore but it’s good to see that one of my favorite places is still around 😊 also the Chick-fil-A sauce is one of my favorite things on this earth…same with the lemonade. This Jolly youtube feature of Brits try Chick fil A for the first time features some Chich Fil A items that have some inviting food, the polynesian sauce gives the chicken and the waffle fries an added taste enhancement (though I would have also enjoyed their-Josh and Olly's- take on the yummy honey mustard and ranch sauces). The feature of Josh & Olly trying their Autumn Spice milkshakes and Cookies and Cream milkshakes with the cherries on top is an added highlight, I had to chuckle with happiness when the waffles fries were being put into the milkshake (the Bokksu Japan brief is also amusing).
This was awsome to see their reactions to the food and the milkshakes!

I just recently tried the restaurant for the first time because the closest one to where I live is about 40 minutes away. I was in my car and went through the drive-thru. I didn't know that the sauces came separately and I thought it was kind of a waste. Now I get the idea but it still is not good food for eating when you're on the road
If sugar content is a concern, Chick-fil-A also sells unsweetened ice tea and diet lemonade, and those are good options as well! Fun episode! Chick-fil-A really does have tasty food! :)

I really miss full-fat Sprite (the regular has reduced sugar here in the UK), it really brought out the lime! The citrus Mountain Dew is pretty close, once you get used to the caffeine aftertaste!
Starting work at CFA was one of the best decisions I made in high school. My coworkers, managers, and restaurant guests were all wonderful and I genuinely enjoyed my shifts. It's definitely the best fast food chain in America.
Only recently started going to there since I'm in Chicagoland and yes, the staff is refreshingly friendly. Love your English pronunciation of "Sa-von-ah".
My favorite experience at chick fil a is when I was walking in there was chickfila workers walking in behind me so I held the door for them and they said “thank you” and I said “my pleasure” and they both started dying of laughter.
As a Georgian, I’m glad you guys got to enjoy a hint of our southern hospitality. CFA is on a different scale and it should not be compared to other fast food franchises.
My husband worked at a children's home, as a counselor, and Chick-Fil-A had a huge Christmas party for them. It was so much fun, and the children loved it. I can't say enough great things about the company and the Cathy family. My son-in-law worked for them for 5 years and they helped him through college. Great company.

The lemonade is homemade, we make new batches everyday with real lemons! It was actually one of my least favorite things to make but I’m glad people enjoy it! And I hate how overly sweet American drinks are too! 😝
This is why my favorite lemonade is just drinking concentrated lemon juice from the squeeze bottles used for cooking. I want my lemon drink to taste like lemons.
1) the chicken is breaded and fried at the restaurant
2) the lemons are squeezed and lemonade made at the restaurant
3) Oreo milkshake has crushed Oreos.
We don’t squeeze lemons at the restaurant 💀 I work there (but it’s still really good)

I worked at Chick Fil A For 10 Months and I shall inform you we get fresh lettuce and tomatoes and other produce almost every day to every other day and we prep everything that same day. 🥰 that’s why it’s so fresh. Same with the bread it’s almost every other or every three days. I loved working there. I worked in the kitchen and it cool to see they standard and managers overseeing to make sure everything goes well. Good work ethic and treatment of their workers. ☺️

This is actually a pretty standard CFA practice! I worked at CFA for a year and a half. It’s called second mile service! (Going the extra mile). It’s not always the person who took your order, but they actually have people who are assigned to the dining room as a “host”. They are primarily responsible for making sure everything the guests are around is clean and they are also primarily responsible for making sure the guests are having a good experience. They have to periodically go around to everyone and ask them if everything with their meal is going well and offer to get them refills on drinks or get anything else they may have forgotten or need like napkins, forks, ketchup, more sauces etc. Pretty cool! Very different from most fast food restaurants.
