@@blinko656 Yeah iTunes and I think some others use the 70's remakes. it's not that they are bad he did them with Papa Do Run Run. But they don't have Jan's voice or the original Studio Musicians including Leon Russel and Glen Campbell. And L.A's best players of the 60's Hal Blaine and Earl Palmer double drumming , Tommy Tedesco , Billy Strange Guitars. Bill Pitman 6 string Danelectro "Bassguitar" Ray Polman , Jimmy Bond Bass.....Sid Sharp strings and the best Brass section.....Thanks
I had no idea I know they made re makes. I did see Jan and Dean in El Dorado County fair about 15 years ago. can’t remember which one was in the car accident now. I’m 74 young minded, but a little hazy on the memory. However, the one that was an accident did sing a few songs. He wasn’t quite himself, and everybody understood and gave him a standing ovation. I understand he passed away a few years ago. Thank you for that information though. I appreciate it.
@@blinko656 Yeah it was Jan. He had his good day's and bad on stage. Had to listen to the songs before going on so he could remember the lyrics. But could sit down and write out all the Notes for all the Instruments. Now with his left hand as you may have noticed his right side was Paralyzed. I was in Kansas City when he had a Seizure during the second show. He was really off the first show. So it didn't surprise me. he died in 04. Your welcome
