Wow a lot of the scores you got on your first exam are the same ones I got on mine. I’m planning to retake soon what programs did you use to study for the second time? Did you use flash cards?

Hello Lilian! Know that if I can do it, you certainly can! I was never a flashcard person so for me, it didn't make sense to use them during my DAT studies. I did try, but it's just not for me. I really focused on the practice exams. I used a combo of booster and bootcamp my second time and made sure to find people who were also studying. I think having someone to go to about concepts I didn't fully understand really helped. I went to old professors and had a study group where I was able to ask questions to make sure that I understood the concept correctly.
For QR, I focused on speed. I'm not bad at math, but the speed was my downfall. Answering 40 word problems was hard for to do in a little over an hour. It seemed ridiculous.
For Biology, I watched a video by the "amoeba sisters" I think it was something called "a stroll down the timeline" it was a video that tied all biology concepts together which made sense for me. At first it seemed like bio was all over the place, but that video really helped connect dots which made it more easier for me to understand bio during my studies.
At the end of the day, you know yourself best. At least for me, I can get a sense of when I feel like something is not working. And that's okay if it's not, but know when to change up your study habits so you're not taking so much time studying incorrectly. I knew right off the bat that flashcards wasn't going to work...but at least I tried. Hopefully you can understand where I'm going with this.
Sorry for the late reply. I have just returned from a week long vacation and got sick on my travels back. But stay tuned! I have more content coming soon! :)
