ขอมคือชาวขแมร์ แต่ในยุคพันกว่าปีที่แล้วคนขแมร์เรียกคนกูยว่า ซีม หรือเซียม ชาวกูยจะอยู่ในลุ่มแม่น้ำชีและแม่น้ำมูลและกินพื้นที่ไปถึงสองฝั่งของแม่น้ำโขง ซึ่งเหนือสุดจะไปถึงตอนใต้ของเมืองเวียงจันทน์ แต่ชาวกูยปกครองและอาศัยอยู่ในอาณาจักรศรีโคตรปุระและมีเมืองหลวงที่เมืองมรุกข ปัจจุบันคืออำเภอธาตุพนม เมื่อก่อนศูนย์กลางอาณาจักรนี้ตั้งอยู่ไม่ห่างจากปากแม่น้ำเซบั้งไฟของฝั่งประเทศ สปป ลาว ส่วนอีกหนึ่งอาณาจักรของชาวกูยก็คือ อาณาจักรยโสธรปุระ กวมเอาหลายจังหวัดรวมทั้งร้อยเอ็ด กาฬสินธุ์ มหาสารคาม อำนาจเจริญ อุบลราชธานี และอีสานใต้ไปถึงเขตโคราช
ทุกวันนี้คนกูยส่วนมากได้หันมารับเอาวัฒนธรรมลาวในยุคลาวล้านช้างปกครองจนทำให้เกิดมีสำเนียงใหม่ในภาษาลาวคือสำเนียง จำปาศักดิ์/อุบลราชธานีและสำเนียงร้อยเอ็ด/ยโสธร คนดูยที่กลายมาเป็นคนอีสานทุกวันนี้พูดสำเนียงแบบนี้ หลังจากได้รวมเข้ากับสยามและในที่สุดก็มาเป็นประเทศไทยก็ยังพูดสำเนียงนี้อยู่
ฉะนั้น คนอีสานอย่าดูถูกคนกูยกับเขมร ส่วนคนไทยภาคกลางอย่าดูถูกคนเขมรกับมอญ ส่วนคนลาว ( สปป ลาว ) อย่าดูถูกคนขมุกับกูย พวกเขามีส่วนเป็นบรรพชนของคนไทยกับคนลาวนะครับ

เสานางจรัสเรียงสวยมากกกกก วัฒนธรรมแบบขอม แบบอินเดีย แต่มีสถูปทรงทิเบตด้วย คล้ายจาม คล้ายจีนนะ ที่ไหนครับน่าสนใจจริง น่าจะยุคใกล้เคียงทวาราวดี เพราะดูจากลวดลายการสลัก แต่คงเป็นแหล่งที่มีหินทรายสีแดงมาก ขนาดใหญ่ รางน้ำที่เป็นการส่งน้ำทำด้วยหินคล้าย พนมรุ้ง กำแพงเป็นศิลาแลงคงสร้างคนละสมัยกัน แต่ต่อเนื่อง เป็นอาณาจักรขนาดใหญ่ เสียดายที่ไม่มีการบูรณะ

It's a very nice place in one side it's historical and in other side it's spiritual. Both of them flourished here. The temples the existence of the remaining parts of those times are not small. It's good the religious beliefs of the human beings. The place is so beautiful. Ancient artists should be praised as well as their patronages.

The word Pallavar of India, Pallavar empire changed to Khmer after 1500 AD during the rule of Buddhists. These Buddhist preachers were very deadly and they and Muslim kings were important in destroying the history of Indian kings and Hindu temples. After that they gradually changed everything like religion, language and culture in the regime. In fact they do not have an early history. An example is the Angkorwad temple, a Hindu Vishnu temple built by the Pallava king, a kshatriya of the Vanniya clan, Suryavarman II. Even today if you visit that temple you can see Tamil inscriptions in that temple.
Indian tamil is thai or siam those people are very crafty we are related if you notice theres no more hindu temples building in india no more even in modern days its now architecture by buddhist go look in thailand theres hindu temples and buddhist temples all over the same people who are Indian tamils migrated to siam or modern day thailand.....the language is similar too with thai and sanskrit and bali .....the cambodians dont have royal ancestors nor are they ever crafty like tamils and thai.....look at the evidence....jayavarman the 2nd and all of them are not the bloodlines of khmer people its siam/thai....the khmer were slaves and yes theres some mix with khmer but they were never royal they became royal because king rama the 4th crowned norodom....he adopted him as his son.

Bodhi darma a Buddhist monks was a prince from pallavar family, Dharmapala of Nalanda who was a Buddhist scholar, he's also from pallavar family, he was one of the main teachers of the Yogacara school in India.He studied in Nalanda as a student of Dignāga. Later he succeeded him as abbot of the University. He spent his last years near the Bodhi tree, where he died.

Lao is an asiatic word for OLD. used by many tribals n natives in southeast asia. all the other languages used the Lao language to build themselves for other tongues.
