This week we paint the chassis of the 60 Series Landcruiser. After 33 years of life, the old girl has picked up a bit of surface rust, but it's nothing we can't fix. We use the KBS chassis coater kit to do the job and are pretty happy with the results so far but keep an eye out for the review video once we've done a few kilometres with it.

loved watching you use gloves with the aqua clean and one with the rust seal :D how's it all held up you applied it all a little backwards, doing the diffs first then spraying down your chassis to clean it... still stuck on nice and no rust coming through ? or below the product ?

We did do it in a bit of a funny order but it was so much easier to break the job down into sections, especially since we were doing suspension and body mounts at the same time.
And we might have to do a few thousand kms on gravel before we can fairly review the chassis coat 😊
