@02:50 Here in Australia, you can "hog" any lane bar the right lane, so long as the speed of the road is over 80kph. Under 80 you can be in any lane you choose. "Undertaking" is not a thing, you can be in any lane to pass other vehicles (if the rule was you can only overtake to the right, then that's a lot of unnecessary, unsafe, multiple lane changes), at no greater than the speed LIMIT, if you are in the middle lane doing 90kph in a 100kph zone, I can and will over-take you in whichever lane I am in (I don't like having to change lanes once I'm going).
