Nicole you are my oasis. I watch the news and then your video pops up in my feed. I come here and am instantly soothed by your gentle acoustic music and stunning photography. Then your cheerful, passionate, optimistic, sometimes silly personality makes me chuckle and I feel refreshed when I leave. Thank you for sharing your farm and business with us. :)
You're the best! It's a LOT - this was all today-- I sprayed for bugs this morning for an hour before harvesting- six hours of harvest and then editing for about three hours. It never ends!
OMG 😱 the Rose Lillies - they are like the tissue paper flowers I made in 2nd grade! I always chose the pink, hot pink and red tissue papers to make layered petals- can’t believe it exists in real life!!
Nicole - Thanks so much for shooting this harvesting video. One of the things I struggle with the most is understanding the size of mature plants. Often times, I only find close up images of the blooms or other photos without anything next to them, so there's no perspective to determine scale. This video was extremely helpful in that regard. Also, I really appreciate you sharing tips on the proper stage for harvesting versus a bloom that is "too far along" to include in a bouquet. You're awesome and a wonderful resource. Have a great week!
Yes! It is so helpful when it comes to seeing the mature plants! Like I'm currently working on my 2022 seed order & was going to order agrostemma- well I thought they were small blooms like the ammonium & baby's breath! But no! They're pretty big!
Your vid is so therapeutic in the covid time....I'm from Trinidad n we don't have those beautiful flowers....loving the dhalias💖was looking on Johnny seed n it had been out of stock for soooooo long....u are amazing n love ur energy💟💗💕💞💖
Hi Adele, I'm from Trinidad too! Small world 😀 I love looking at Nicole's channel so I can drool. I however did get some zinnia, dahlia and teddy sunflower seeds in Aranguez though. Can't wait to start them!

I'm so impressed, you are a very determined, hard working Mama with a passion for beautiful flowers. And quite the comedian! If I lived near you, I'd be one of your best customers. Best of luck with your sales.
Icing my knee after 2nd knee replacementthis summer, just spending the afternoon with Nicole, lulled by the flowers, bees, music, a few laughs and show tunes, boy humor. You are the best dose of wellness! Next year I want to grow all the flowers! 😁
Your the best!! Your videos totally make my day!! Thank you for all you do! Made 10 Bouquets tonight for my neighborhood flower stand I have!! I average about 20 a week! This is my first year growing cut flowers all thanks to your inspiration and I’m hooked! I wish I could show you pictures. 💐😘🌻
It’s all so beautiful! Love how it is all coming together, all your hard work planting and growing from seed! What an accomplishment! Very inspiring Nicole!
Nicole, I am SO EXCITED to have found you, which was from the RUclips channel " You can't eat the grass" I have been envying her flower beds thinking I would not be able to achieve that living in zone 4b.. THANK YOU for showing we can .. I am 4b central Vt. I have flower beds galore and couldn't bring myself to cut the blooms from my beds and have been dreaming of creating a cut flower bed.. This will be my goal for 2022. Right after watching all your videos ;) I love your enthusiasm for each precious bloom. I do will do a happy dance as each bloom arrives :) P.s after watching your joy and excitement, I did it.. I went out and cut myself two bouquet.
The cosmos dancing in the breeze. With the background music. A sight for sore eyes. So jealous of you Nicole for the amount of time you spend with your gorgeous flowers. Your hard work paying off. So happy for you.
Hi Nicole, thank you for sharing all your flower news, the highs and lows of everything you grow is refreshing. When I see your notifications I wait for a gap in my day and make a cup of tea and then when I hear your intro music I go into calm mode and know I am going to be entertained, laugh, sometimes cry but mostly be massively inspired. Thank you and I can’t wait for longer videos of harvesting, arranging and bouquet bars. Thank you from Yorkshire, England xxx
Love this harvesting video so much! Thanks for taking the time to show us newbies the proper stage to harvest the flowers. So exciting to watch your business grow. Your hard work is paying off! Thanks for taking us along for the ride!
I just want you to know, I appreciate you taking the time to move the camera around to get all these angels. I know it's a pain to stop and move the bucket and the camera 📷. Girl I hate washing buckets too! I haven't been to my market in 2 weeks and still haven't washed the buckets I used 3 weeks ago. 😅
There is magic in the dancing stems in the sped-up version. It is something that is always happening, but it is hard to recognize when you are there. I loved the singing at the end, too.
You are such a joy to watch. You always make me laugh! Thanks for sharing all your knowledge and your amazing flowers with us! You defiantly inspire me!!!
At time clock 3:20 ....who else wanna see Nicole sing the rest of the song? In a speedup voice too? Heheheh THAT MOMENT GAVE ME LIFE!! thank you for ur humor 😁😅😁😅
Amazingly gorgeous flower farm, Nicole! Beautiful job! I must admit I am one of those people who would enjoy a real-time, non-sped up video of the flower harvest. There is indeed something soothing, comforting, and life affirming about harvesting flowers. When I am in my office, I watch gardening videos, and feel like I, too, am in the garden. Thank you! You are an amazing lady, Nicole, an awesome mother, a fun jokester, a generous heart.
Love watching all your videos and hope to meet you in October at the Arnosky's! That zucchini moment made me almost choke on my coffee🤣😂 Thank you for not editing that out! 😆
I've had that EXACT moment where my son came up and FLARPED right behind me. Boys.... The serenity of watching you harvest flowers as I sit here in early march, seedlings growing, patiently waiting for warmer weather, is so wonderful. Thank you for sharing.
The cosmos! So gorgeous! I loved the music, especially Leaning on the fiddle. You’re amazing and adorable! Enjoy your energy while you’re young. It’s so surprising when it goes.
What a feast for the senses. I’m home sick and this is helping me dream about what my flowers will look like! On a much smaller scale! Lol. Love love love!
Dearest Nicole, I have now been following your videos for over 1.5 years all the way from South Africa, from before we took the big jump to move 500km, buu a farm and turn it into a flower farm. I follow loads of channels, listen to the flower podcast with Scott (Ascfg), and do hours of research, but I have to say you are still one of my favourite and most inspiring channels to watch! Thank you for sharing your knowledge, experience and lovely, real and relatable personality. We are now a year into cut flower farming, grow an almost identical mix of varieties as you (largely inspired by your successes), and now supply 3 large grocery stores, and have a super busy stall at the local farmers market. In our busiest weeks we sell up to 300 bouquets per week. We are currently buying in alot to supplement what we grow until our production qties are sufficient, but are very happy how things have grown. I just want to say thank you, you were and still are one of my biggest inspirations! Anthony from Knysna, Western Cape, South Africa
Love love LOVE!!! So sorry you had the allergic reaction to dill as it smells soooo heavenly (in my humble opinion). You are rocking the flower world awesomely 💚🌻🌿
I feel like you could totally get the asmr crowd with a long harvesting video with no background music! I should know, I’ve seen 2 videos about that asmr phenomenon 😂.
Nicole thanks to you I have taken the plunge, bought my first greenhouse 8.5x16.5 and a ton of seeds (probably not enough), I have 4 acres of farmland. I will start this late fall with my tulips and daffodil bulbs. I wish you did mentoring! My husband about spit out his wine when you said "to the window to the wall" 🤣
I love to strip...leaves. Oh Nicole, I'm so proud of you. Months and months of planning, planting and caring for all these flowers has finally rewarded you. So beautiful. You've introduced us to so many new plants. I'm considering growing a small patch of cut flowers next year. How does one choose though? I love belting out a good show tune.
Dear Nicole, I enjoy watching part of your life, You are such an inspiration. Your joie de vivre and your conversation to either the big web void or your family make me smile, so THANK YOU. Love your flowers, love your show, and maybe that is the secret for such happiness, been surrounded by the simplicity and the beauty of the flowers, the nature at its essence. You were talking about not been major in theater, so what was your major, if I may ask?
Hi, it might be beneficial to plant lots of wild senna and other beneficial herbs/flowers around your glads. They attract a lot of lady bugs. I planted some wild senna this year and the number of wasps and lady bugs that live in it is incredible. Hugs your way.
