@@003roodygog Thanks. Yes, she is a lovely ship and we really enjoyed our time onboard. Oceania isnt cheap by any means but what you get for your money makes their cruises pretty good value. We are already looking to go on another Oceania cruise in 2026. Where are you going? You must be getting so excited!👍
Thanks, glad you got something out of the video. We are also looking at cruising again in a year or so, and depending on where we decide to go, Oceania is certainly a line we would be happy cruising with again. When you consider what you get for your money, they are actually not as expensive as they look on paper. And there are often "fly/cruise/stay" packages available too, which can make a deal even more economical. For us it was the "little" things that made Riviera special; room service cutting a lemon in 1/4's with a nightly cup of lemon/honey tea....the amazing pizzas being packaged up for takeaway to your cabin if you preferred, the iced face towels ready for you when reboarding after a 36deg C shore excursion...etc..etc... The only thing we could complain about the whole 12 day cruise was x1 lobster tail overcooked at the grill station in the buffet...lol I mean- like how many times at home do I get to eat lobster? None! So not an issue to be honest. And besides, I could go up and have another one..and another one if I wanted... I'm sure if you do choose Riviera ,or any of the Oceania ships you will have a wonderful time.
@@jenfountain9804 I know exactly how you feel- it was our first real cruise too. It's so exciting as the months and weeks, then days countdown, and finally you are on your way. We also had a bit of anxiety pre cruise, especially as we had x2 flights each way to get to Civitivecchia for boarding. But Oceania is very professional and everything was totally seemless -from receiving our "pre-cruise" pack several weeks before right through to boarding on the day. You will have a great time I'm sure!😀
Truly informative and thorough. Good enough to be a promotional video made by the cruise company itself, maybe you should let them look at it. What an amazing vessel with so much to do
