Hey Kristian thank you so much for taking the time and care to record and edit this video. I am a full time news photographer, doing 3-5 portrait shoots a day where I rarely ever have more then 10min to setup and get the shots so speedy setup is almost the most important aspect for all equipment I use. This video was tremendously helpful in my search for a suitable softbox for my use case: until I saw this video, I had never even considered using a softbox on location because of the setup time, I had to work around that by bouncing the flash around the room (inconsistent colors) or using umbrellas (unreliable light output when trying to use it “parabolically”). This video proved to me, softboxes are doable in news photography. Basically opened up a whole new world of lighting possibilities for me. Thank you so much for that!
Thank you for very kind words 🙂 I am using this one on every shoot. Both photo and video. I am about to buy the 120cm as well. I was sceptical it would break fast, but it still is in perfect shape.
This was really worth watching, perfectly executed review Kristian! I couldn't find any other videos out there that highlighted these significant differences, you nailed it!
taking this long cause you doing it wrong.. best way to do it . one rode left one rode right .. make it a square pattern then go all around the box would make the whole process faster and easier

Thank you for taking the time to create this very helpful video. I just subscribed to your channel.
Thank you :) I will maybe make an updated version, since I have used this softbox a lot.
Thanks for detailed review
A simple but convenient swap in soft-box :)
Nice!@😊😊 what size do u recommend for both outdoors and studio 90 or 120? I have a powerful flash. Regards ❤❤
@@carolinamaristad9369 Bigger softbox means softer light. I mostly use the 120 🙂
Nice video.
Thank you 🙂
Can it be used on a speedlite?
Absolutely. With a bowens mount. But maybe the speedlite is a bit weak in power.

Thank you for your advise :) I tried it and it works.
