    1:13 - 1:15, that's so amazingly tricky. When you think she would grab the apparatus with her upholding left hand, actually she did it with her right hand beneath... Really love this whole routine, especially the choreography which is graceful and smooth.

    Poor thing, her back clearly has been bothersome lately. She's lucky the games aren't in a couple weeks. Once she's rehabbed, she'll be set!

    Why is she competing when she’s still injured? This was the perfect opportunity for her to rest and heal before 2021 and instead she’s out competing and risking further injury. I’ll never understand what goes through the mind of some of these coaches.

      What the hell about these coaches!!

    • @mysticjc

      You have to compete in order to get back in shape, mentally and physically. She will never be "healed" completely until the end of the career, unfortunately that's how professional sport goes. She has to push through pain if she wants to get a medal at the Olympics, she already did that at the European Championships 2018 where she competed injured, that's also what her sister did in the 2018 World Championship. Look at Kudryavtseva, she did a World Championships (2015) with a broken foot, and it's not even the coaches fault because I think also the athletes wants to perform if they are able to do it. This sport breaks the body of everybody eventually, you just have to stay focused, heal as much as you can, and perform nonetheless.

    • @Trusova111

      If she rest too much, she has not enough time to catch up with the training schedule. It really takes time for gymnastics to get used to attending training and competitions. You can't suddenly go to fight for a World/Olympics medal on a day.

    • @angeleast2388
      @angeleast2388 4 года назад +11

      If she stops, she just will have to leave sport, because the only way to heal for gymnast is to work and perform. The strength and motivation to heal within competition.

    I don’t really understand why people are saying “tHiS iS nOt tHe 2017 DiNa I fElL iN lOvE wItH” her back injury is serious and will obviously have to limit things in her routines to help her carry on throughout the routine. I’m a rhythmic gymnast myself and I have the same back injury as her, and when I tell you it’s painful, it’s painful. You can’t come on here and say comments like “she’s not as good” or “shes looking really messy” for me, I would hate people saying that about me. It would seriously ruin my self confidence for this sport, and if she read what you guys were saying, I think she’d be the same. She does this sport because she loves it and she obviously wants to keep doing what she loves even if it is with a back injury. As personal experience, even with months and months of rehab she could come back competing and it would still be sore and would still have to limit things. It would be hard for her to get back to where she was and that’s completely normal with an injury and no one should feel ashamed of that when their competing. Everyones just expecting her to bounce back as ‘injury free’ but that’s not how reality works. just don’t come on here and judge her for limiting her routines because you don’t understand the pain she’s in. She’s a beautiful gymnast with or without an injury and I seriously look up to her because of how brave she is. It’s not always about her winning, it’s about her trying and giving it her all and that’s what matters. Periodt

      i get your point but she didn’t rests at all. i had a back injury for 3years and that was bcs i didn’t get to rest even though my doctors told me to. now i wish i had because i lost a lot of flexibility. i feel like she should lay of rg for maybe a month but still workout. thats what i had to do and it helped so much. im not her doctor so its hard to say for me what she should or shouldn’t do, but that helped me a lot. i know many girls are out of shape too, but her handeling with apparatus is still great. her only thing are her bds. i feel really bad for her because i know how she feels, i was there too, but unfortunately i feel like if she is going to keep pushing herself, she won’t be able to stand up like i couldn’t when i had pushed myself. BUT luckily she has time to fully recover until the olymics next year (if they will even take place) because shes the fiercest competitor and had the best results the last 3 years

      Bianka Gaik yes I completely agree with this! And yes she should definitely get some rest especially cause her back is quite bad. And I’m sorry to hear about your back aswell 🥺I’m actually still on rest for my back and I wish Dina would do the same, but no matter what she is an amazing gymnast and my only problem is people coming on here and just judging her cause they have no idea what kind of pain she’s in :( but yes I completely agree with you ☺️

    Недавно слышала в интервью,девчонки Аверины сказали,сколько лет хотят быть а гимнастике. Нельзя так вслух. Расскажи богу о своих планах...и люди слышали... И пошло-поехало. Надо страдать суевериями. Фигуристы не спускают с себя коньки, актеры садятся на текст роли,если она упала. Молча надо планировать. Здоровья вам, девочки. И молча

    ei she won gold on this ribbon . I watched her ceremony two nights ago and she won gold in hoops too. this is not aired there . only the hoops and she got 25. plus average in hoops higher than the best gymnast from israel linoy. sadly Arina got only one gold I think is on ball. I just got annoyed that maria got gold even shes not as perfect as the two Averina sisters.

      Аня наверное, она имела в виду, что у Риты был похожий пояс на зеленом купальнике под обруч 2016. но у неё, насколько я знаю, это был все же элемент декора, а вот у Дины - вынужденная мера для поддержки больной спины
