@@JoyJasonRides while this is a good suggestion, I hope people realize Zwift did an amazing job getting prepared for this in 8(?) weeks. I expected there to be a lot more missing features and bugs
@Greg A While I totally agree with you on the amazing work Zwift has done to develop these new routes, they already display the gradient when you ride the routes.
@@JoyJasonRides the tool they use to broadcast events is a completely different animal than what you use to ride Zwift. They likely rushed improvements to the tool before Virtual TDF, so nobody should expect it to be as polished as it should be.
it would be great to have more detailed replays of the finishing sprints - more "camera" angles, more slow motion, more analytics for each rider such as raw power numbers during the last 15 sec etc, detailed analysis of the winner's move (where they were with 20 sec to go, following them to the finish).
1:54:00 insane final 2km in mens race. textbook sprint finish by 'Israel start up nation' team. Turek with the lead out to burn everyone up and Ovett with the perfectly timed powerup to secure the win. p.s. @Zwift - in the final 2km, we don't wanna see anything else other than the race and the power stats - it's really annoying to miss the main moves because the camera is showing some random stuff instead of the most important part of the race!!!
We cant see the power ups, we can't see the gradient most of the time, again, another key player is dropped and we're hearing about it after the fact. I cannot roll my eyes any harder
Haha, I noticed everyone was wearing helmets in game. I was wondering if it was a rule. Socks and helmets required in the virtual world 😂 I guess they want them to set a good example for real life cyclists.
I feel bad for the commentators, Matt and Hannah. I assume they have no control of what we are seeing on camera so they spend 80% of the time just naming riders while showing us their live feed, talking about the basic features of Zwift and then telling us after the fact who got dropped on the last climb, leaving us to tell who bridged back on, etc. Also, the graphics and stats are sporadic, to the point of being annoying. The camera angles are nice, but this stream needs to take notes from the Zwift Community Live videos.
Super lame to join the race 13K in on a zwift race. I appreciate the coverage but you guys would definitely have benefitted from Nathan Guerra helping with commentary and knowing what is happening - rather than just hearing about key people getting dropped well after it happened. Id rather see it happening.
Agree commentary can get better. But NG who is very knowledgeable for sure gets way too overexcited like a teenager at their first rock concert. He tends to overdo on calling the stats too. IMHO.
Race logistics, commentary and visual footage was excellent! Also had a chance to ride this course earlier this week and loved it. Well done Zwift!
@zwift. As soon as a Kom segment starts please display gradient permanently. Thx
I know! How do you not display grade during a climb?

Do the riders feel the 'cobblestones' ?
Best stage yet. That sprint win was epic.
“...despite no sleeves he takes the win.” LOL

also, can we have a hands in the air "winner" avatar position?
Who would have thought you could win a stage of the Tour de France and only have one bloke congratulating you at the finish. 😂
Yeah, this is really clear why this isn't more popular.
Nice

Or they want to keep their helmet sponsors happy?
