- Leicester City fans celebrate outside The King Power Stadium after clinching promotion to the Premier League without even playing. Leeds United lost 4-0 to Queens Park Rangers which ultimately promoted Leicester City.
Well done Leicester.
As a 62 year old QPR fan from NZ, i am so glad that our team were the ones that finally gave you the points to beck in the premier league WHERE YOU BELONG!!!!
believe it or not, your team is so well supported down under in NZ, especially after the tragedy you suffered in 2018 which broke our hearts.
I will always support QPR But you are my premier league team and i wish you all so much Aroha (Love & respect) for the next season.
You did it once, no reason why you cant do it again in 2025.

AS you probably know in NZ rugby rules and the All blacks are our passion.
Having said that, we are also passionate about English football clubs, everyone has their favourite.
This is probably because we have so many Kiwis that were born / migrated from the Uk.
Being such a small country, we know about being underdogs and having to get respect from others............especially when it comes to sports.
We love it when the 'Big Dogs' get taught a lesson by a team that may not have the big budget...............but makes up for it in determination, focus and true team work and that is Leicester to a tee.
What you did in 2015 was so inspirational to us all and just proved what can be achieved.
As i said previously, the tragedy you suffered in 2018 touched a spot in the hearts of all New Zealanders and so, from that time on, Leicester has always been just that 'special Team'.
Now, to see you back in the premier league has put such a smile on our faces......we are so happy for the team and the fans.
My dream................The All Blacks to go undefeated in 2024 and for Leicester to secure their spot in premier league.
Take care my friend and to all Leicester fans.................. Dream big and so much aroha (love & respect) for next season.
You are not alone...............there are so many fans 'Down under' who will be cheering you on.
