Do you think Singtel can become one of the world's largest telecommunications companies in the future? Let us know down below!
Why would a foreign country sell stake to Singtel? Telco is a strategic industry. But, I guess small stake is okay.
Capital intensive to grow with low margins
Any financial expert can explain why singtel keeps getting bigger but share prices shows otherwise?
Backed by SG government. Literally can never fail
SingTel expects to pay 70-90% of their net profit as dividends, which is why they have a typically higher dividend yield than most companies.
Growth in share price is typically associated with the growth in expected future cashflows. Hence with only 10-30% reinvestable profits, it’s hard to expect future cashflow growth.
Bad time to release this video when "Singapore Telecommunications posted a 64 per cent drop in full-year net profit on Thursday (May 23) hit by a S$3.1 billion (US$2.3 billion) impairment charge, the majority of which relates to its mobile network operation unit Optus."
Good to know!! Please do a second video and link everything you mentioned with the share price! I can't seem to understand the big distortion the market has with all this "good" decisions Singtel has been making.
That is why i use the other company that is 100% local, so the money stays inside.
This company gives generous dividends to send back to singapore.
So they are basically a telecommunication investor company?
The only reason why Singtel owns Optus and not Telstra is because of Australian nationalistic protectionism
This company is great BUT its stock price isn’t.
there are still many Singaporean holding irs share right from day 1. are their growing proportionally?
The stock though 😂
I thot SingTel just wrote off S$3.1 BILLION mostly from Optus?
dont listen to dumbo angmo that know nuts about the company
No sound

G.O.K - God only knows. Their revenue is under the "official secret acts" Kaki tipu !!
How many of your shares are stucked at high price? Haha
The 5g is bad…. Too bad, regret to switch from 4g to 5g. Many blind spot. You have been warned
Doesn't make sense, if you sign a 5g plan you can use the 4g network also. If 5G is weak your phone will switch downwards to 4g signal. I think you need to change your phone settings to use both 5g and 4g networks.
@@entrydenied that’s what you think, I have done a lot things before I say this, change 5g SIM card, call Singtel’s 3 times, 1 to 1 change iPhone 15, been using 4g for donkey years without problem, once I switch to Singtel 5g is game over, no gps in tunnel, many blind spot, no internet in hdb carpark, try yourself if you don’t believe me, the Singtel operator say same like you, but as poor as the 5g is the 4g and 3g when iPhone switch network, seriously this my last Singtel contract after donkey years, thank you Singtel make my mind up
I don’t know why my comments got deleted, just try yourself. Thank you Singtel for making this my last contract. Poor 5g if you know you know…..
