Very nice build on that buckling...question: I grew pumpkins for the purpose of feeding to goats (and rabbits and chickens) as an aid for de-worming - what are your thoughts on that? If nothing else, it's good for them and they sure do eat it up...
Is there any conflict with feeding goat minerals when you have the steer in with them? Or do the animals kinda eat what they actually need when it comes to minerals like copper ?
Kendell Barnes thAnk you. I have my 2 cows locked up right now so my goats can get some mineral time.... haha. I suppose I should let them out now. Appreciate the quick response. I’m new to goats, and I just picked up 8. Trying to get more but they are just so rare around here. I drove 13 hours for these.
The Marshall Homestead KIKOS are easier to find in the southeast it seems. You can go to the National Kiko Registry’s website to lookup breeders in your area!
Kendell Barnes thanks. Yes I checked with the two in my state. No availability nor trades wanted. I may just sell a few here for meat even though they are percentage. And try to make it to Oklahoma for the invitational.
The Marshall Homestead there are some great breeders in the Oklahoma Hills sale, most I know personally! The kiko world is like a big family to me and my family!

Good question I’m not sure about that. I know the goats love the pumpkins though.
@@BoisDArcKikos oh yeah they sure do! so do our chickens and rabbits (seeds)
I understand how busy you are with baseball and other things. Would it not make an even better buck(valuable) if he was tamer?
Yea that would be better. I don’t like the kind that are in your back pocket but I do like the ones with attitude just not mean
Got to love the NKR!!!! Isn’t Karen Brown the greatest!!!
Yes she is great and always so helpful. Thanks for watching!

No conflict with feeding minerals with goats and cattle. Sheep is the ones you have to keep separate from the high copper type minerals.

Thank you. The scale we use is
ruclips.net/video/20Ez-4f5J-E/видео.html
You maybe able to put your scales in the bottom your chute and not need a bigger cage for you bigger goats.
Good looking buck
Thanks. We tried that and in my uncles roll o Matic chute it won’t fit. It does fit in my raised platform chute though.
Thanks for watching
FYI your not supposed to touch the “roots” of the hair with your fingers!!!!
