I WAS LOOKING FOR THE FLAMING CREATURES I HAD SEEN FILMED BY JACK SMITH AND KENNETH ANGER...
AND I ALWAYS REFERENCE THE LOST HOLLYWOOD OF PRE-CODE BLACK AND WHITE BIBLICAL EPICS, MIXING ART DECO, LURID SIN AND REDEEMING MORALITY.
MY PERSONAL PETER BERLINS WEAR THRASHED GYM SHORTS AND CHIFFON CAPES WITH JUMBO GEOBASKETS THE SIZE OF SPACE BOOTS.
CAPES AND JKTS ALSO COME IN A NARROW LOOMED JAPANESE DENIM WITH A TARNISHED GOLD MEGACRUST COATING. ALL OUR DENIM IS TREATED IN AN ITALIAN WASH HOUSE BASED IN THE VENETO AREA OF ITALY THAT PRODUCES IN SMALLER TREATMENT BATHS TO REDUCE WATER WASTE AND UTILIZE A WATER PURIFYING PROCESS THAT ENABLES THEM TO RECYCLE A PORTION OF THE WATER USED. ALSO INCLUDED ARE OLD FRIENDS LIKE JAKOB JAKOBSSON WHO OPENED MY SECOND SHOW IN NEW YORK 22 YEARS AGO, AND ALLANAH STARR, ONE OF THE GRANDE DAMES OF THE TRANS COMMUNITY FROM NY TO PARIS.
EXPRESSING OUR INDIVIDUALITY IS GREAT BUT SOMETIMES EXPRESSING OUR UNITY AND RELIANCE ON EACH OTHER IS A GOOD THING TO REMEMBER TOO... ESPECIALLY IN THE FACE OF THE PEAK INTOLERANCE WE ARE EXPERIENCING IN THE WORLD RIGHT NOW...

Seeing a show focusing on unity instead of individuality feels so special it’s hard to explain. No tension, no competition, no envy, or narcissism. My brain just turned off and instantly understood everything. It was the most peaceful yet most magnificent 25 minutes i’ve ever experienced in a fashion show.

Rick communicating the need for unity at a time when two wars are currently going on.
The simple notion to invite everyone(students, dif bodytypes, people he’s work with in the past) to be apart of this show compared to his last isolated runway. The relgious vibes that he’s had scattered through his career maybe a nod to weddings, peace and unity with the use of all white in this particular case.
Just got to dig a little deeper but at the end of the day its just clothes haha it can be as serious or not so serious.

Absolutely sublime . Rick Owens is like no other designer out there . Intelligent empathic and compassionate. I wear his designs exclusively for the last 10 years and he creates some amazing shows over the years but this is his magnus opus . Just fantastic

Ancora una volta Rick dimostra di essere l'unico rimasto nella moda a darci un messaggio con le sue sfilate e collezioni. Incredibile come dall'altra parte, la sfilata di un brand chiamato "LV", il momento "più alto" secondo i media sia central cee che caccia il Nintendo Ds, per farvi capire quanto abbia inciso quella sfilata. Invece di qua abbiamo un meraviglioso messaggio, nessun sbruffone, nessun clown, solo arte in movimento. Rick ci vuole trasmettere dolore, vergogna, ci vuol far capire che siamo arrivati ad un punto dove l'umanità sta esagerando, dove ancora una volta a soffrirne sono le minoranze. Designer followed his heart because he must have known the astonishment it would cause. As an artist, he had to "say" this that was deep inside him. He has so many dimensions, i must watch again a few times. The space theme definitely there all throughout the show: A need to be lifted.

i love that this is essentially just 12 fits, very slim and the direction that houses should go coz too many clothes have already been made. and that the processes are as eco as possible is also something that other brands of the same size should emulate. anyhoo, love the gold pieces especially the boots! and yes to unity when one side stops the agression and justice is served. if u can't help, at least don't harm like the buddhists say
I love the inclusion of “normal” bodied people, not for inclusivity’s sake, but to disrupt the standard notions of a “stylish” form. I think the model look is staid, and that particular glamour is dated. The clothing punches so much harder on “average “ looking people. It’s more real. Immersive.

Your streaming quality just isn't on par with the great shows you deliver and it has been like this for ages now. It's really muddy, blotchy and and doesnt capture motion well. I and many others would wish, that you provide us with better broadcasting to enjoy the show from home aswell. It just seems like its the bitrate that messes with the visuals, so please get in touch with a professional to fix this. its no witch craft. thank you
