This song hits hard. I've been in toxic relationships before- the abuse, gaslighting, making it out to be like my partner was the "normal/calm one" in the relationship and I was the "crazy/angry one" for being upset about how they treated and acted around me. Damn.
Now that I read the story behind why this song was originally made.. this brings a whole new light to the song and not just me thinking "ok someone was trying to escape something kinda like the circus freakshow season in American Horror Story" or "Oh it's just for a series or just out of boredom(Like I do alot)" I always thought it had something to do with abuse or something related. But now that I read the story, it all makes sense. The beginning, the middle, the entire song, especially the ending. That definitely makes sense. I guess I seem to forget that most the songs a lot of VOCALOID producers (namely you and Circus-P, that I can think of) tend to write directly from the heart, If you upload a song, it has something to do with your mood, or something that happened to your life, 9 times out of 10.

I'm like fourish years late, but i wanna dedicate this song to literally all 'behavioral issue' dogs. They learn what we teach them - a dumped guard dog, or god forbid a fight dog, isn't aggressive, it was trained to defend, attack, protect. By us. Domestic dog breeds arent 'animalistic,' we teach them to hurt. Dont hit your pets. Their goals arent realistic, its US, not them. Please be kind to your pets, and try to understand why your adoptions act the way they do.

The artwork is amazing, the characters design is so bright and colorful and I love everything about how she looks, the lyrics are very strong and really hit home, I’m not big on Daina’s voice but how it was used and tuned made me want to listen to her, ( Honestly, I feel you, GHOST, and Prisma have really nailed how to make her sound wonderful ) as always, you have amazing music composition in the background......I just reallly can’t find anything about it that I didn’t like. This is phenomenal and I’m glad you finally released it. Everyone that worked on this should be really proud of what they accomplished with this!

In fact, he was originally going to write a letter to her explaining about how her actions have affected him, but instead he decided to turn those into lyrics, and thus this song was born.

A friendly critique: I feel this song was good but it had something lacking, I feel like the tuning was too montone, I feel like it needed more emotion behind it, since the lyrics are obviously very emotionally driven, however I really did like the lyrics :)

Love it, one of the song i keep singing everysingle time, the symbolism i can see in this song is my abusive and manipulative relationship with my brother, showing how much he hurt me verbally and a bit fisically, the cage is to show how you feel trapped inside your thoughts and had to see yourself living this memories of abuse, and that whatever you do, he throws you back into the cage, symbolizing him hurting you once again : "but then out throw me back into the cage again, now you back for blood, for my heart again". The girl getting off the cage and getting off the circle is a sign of freedom a running away from the toughts, but it dosen't matter what you do, he tought always comes at you until you die.
This is a sequel to cry, isn't it? At the end of cry, William ends up at a neon circus. Cool! If it is connected, I love this and would like to see more of the story, if not, I would still like to see more songs because the are so good and it's obvious that you put a lot of effort and thought into it!

Love it, one of the song i keep singing everysingle time, the symbolism i can see in this song is my abusive and manipulative relationship with my brother, showing how much he hurt me verbally and a bit fisically, the cage is to show how you feel trapped inside your thoughts and had to see yourself living this memories of abuse, and that whatever you do, he throws you back into the cage, symbolizing him hurting you once again : "but then out throw me back into the cage again, now you back for blood, for my heart again".
The girl getting off the cage and getting off the circle is a sign of freedom a running away from the toughts, but it dosen't matter what you do, he tought always comes at you until you die.
