Love his honest take on this classic song. Far superior to other covers I have heard. He has a clean natural tone to his voice, but can still add some grit when needed, and never sounds strained or like he needs to shout.

Because after Erik has winning the Swedish Idol 2009, he joined H.e.a.t from 2010-2020, as the front singer. And “Breaking the Silence” is a H.e.a.t song. Dan really puts the emotion in it. The simplistic set makes you concentrate on the vocals and the artist. You are right... I hate comparisons, also. Steve, Erik and Dan all have very distinct voices and I am here for all of it.
