It's Laufey Lin and Sinfó. Their channel is Sinfó. The Icelandic Sympohonic Orchestra. This girl is a virtuoso. Plays many instrumemts. Sings old jazz melody standards, her own music is very much in the style and influence and Icelandic evergreens. She graduated from Julliard or another US music academy. She lived in NY but has moved. She is very sought after right now and was on Jimmy Kimmel a year ago. Her own songs are a lot about love. About a boy on the bus and such. She is still single.
You can hear the inspiration from people like Billie Holiday mixed with like the ballad type vocals of the 80s and 90s like Celine Dion and artists like that. Truly beautiful and the ability to make something so traditional sound so modern is such an accomplishment in itself
