I actually kind of agree with you on that. I had originally planned to have simple drums played relatively straight. But in the end, the drums on rain are so iconic, I kind of felt like it’d be a shame to leave them out as if Ringo wouldn’t wanna bang them out like that when they finally played the song again. In the end I was 50/50 but I love the drums so much I let them stay. 🤷♂️
