He saw it as a threat to the nation and knew he had to do something about it. He worked diligently to help Americans, gave tax breaks like the child tax credit to the poorest among us and brought the child poverty level down by almost 50%, etc. Compare that to Traitor Trump who grifted for himself and his family, gave tax breaks to billionaires, and spent almost a quarter of his time in office golfing. To list a few things that Biden did for all of us: He passed the infrastructure bill (remember how Traitor Trump said he was going pass an infrastructure bill every two weeks while he was in office?). And Biden did it to benefit both "red" and "blue" states (whereas Traitor Trump didn't even want to help Californians when they were devastated by fires in 2017--his staff had to convince him that there were also Republicans who voted for him in CA before he would offer any relief). The infrastructure bill allows for 74,000 projects around the country in all 50 states--things like replacing lead pipes to make drinking water safe, cleaning up contamination sites, repairing roads and bridges, providing rural broadband, etc. There are so many things that have been in need of fixing for decades. And the Republicans all voted against the infrastructure bill...yet they show up at the ribbon-cutting ceremonies and try to take credit for the projects in their states. 🙄 Remember when Traitor Trump promised he would withdraw our troops from Afghanistan? And instead he invited Taliban members to Camp David and ultimately freed 5,000 Taliban members from prison--making it harder for Biden to withdraw our troops? Neither Obama nor Traitor Trump did withdraw the troops, it took Joe Biden to do it after a 20-year war based on Bush's lie. Biden also got the PACT act passed to help our veterans who were exposed to toxic burn pits--despite Republicans trying to stop it. (They actually fist bumped when they were able to stop the veterans from getting the help they need when it didn't pass the first time around. 😩) He also passed the CHIPS act which helps the working class by providing tens of thousands of jobs and makes us less reliant on China for car, phone and other technology production. Despite the corrupt members of the Supreme Court trying to subvert his efforts, Biden was able to figure out a workaround and relieve 5 million Americans of their predatory student loan debts. I heard accounts of some people who had been paying in for 20 years and their debt had actually increased over that time.😮 School teachers and others who could never hope to get out of debt without Biden's help are now able to save for a house, etc. The minimum wage would have been increased, the George Floyd Justice in Policing act, John Lewis Voting Rights act, etc. would also have been passed if it weren't for Republicans voting against them.
