London is a lovely city for some of us from far away who have seen so much about London. The city is a nice place to walk around, the parks around the palaces are huge and well cared for. I'm a small town gal myself, so I get what you mean about crowds. I move away to the city Los Angeles, when I was in my 20's & had fun, but had to move back home to a simpler less crowded lifestyle. 700 rooms, I wonder if all of them were ever filled at 1 time. Imagine cleaning that place! LOL I'll stick with quaint parties. haha Thanks for the tour. I can understand you perfectly. But people that aren't used to hearing a German accent, may not catch every word. Yeah, that did look like a tiring trip. hahah I think I'll go to bed now. hahhahahha
That was such an adventure! Wow, that was interesting that no one could enter the square that housed the guard with the horse; very interesting. Wow, I felt as if I was taken back in time with the architectural design of the buildings and its colors. Not to mention the gate - they are out of this world! What you didn't pick up on was the Gurkhas! That's why it was so crowded. Extremely rare (if ever before) that the Gurkhas are given the honour to hold guard. That's reserved for the Grenadier, Scott's, Welsh, Irish and Coldstream Guards.
