Impressive discussion on the challenges and innovations behind Pi zero’s design! Building a robot capable of multi-tasking is no small feat. It raises key questions about how we'll balance advancements with ethics, especially around privacy and job displacement.
Has anyone ever asked one of the robotic androids if they would prefer to be alone so that they can think about everything that it has learned? Has anyone just put one of them in a room by itself for an extended length of time to see and learn its reactions and what it does during the "alone" time?
Have you tried that with a chatbot? They do nothing since they haven't been trained on that kind of behavior. They're reaction machines. They wait for an input and react on it based on the training data. They don't think on their own. Yet.
Great demos, but a lot of hype too. Cal Berkeley robots were folding laundry 15 years ago. Also, current electronic sensors and actuators can't come close to matching biological sensing and muscles. Maybe AI can help crack this problem!
FSD will be much, much easier to master than what a generalised robot will have to be capable of and look how long that’s taken so far, and it’s still far off being reliable enough for sane people to trust.
This is a Generalist solution. Similar to how google's android OS can turn any phone into a smart phone or ChatGPT can turn anyone into a copy writer or graphic designer . Anyone building cheap robots can download all these skills without having to spend all the time training them. I assume a company will do this for cars as well. Add autonomous driving to any car with Simple converting kits. Hopefully we'll have open source solutions as well.
@NathanIslesOfficial they previously announced that robots will be a common household commodity by the year 2028. By 2040, VR and AR will be better than reality by then... I laugh because sense these days makes none.... and what better way to spend your time?
Also the lie about Optimus being available in 2040. I'm sure this whole presentation was AI created because any human that wrote would've known 'hey 16 years for Tesla'? Or maybe not..... LoL
@ronilevarez901 The word Robot comes from a 1920 novel called R.U.R. you can find a short monie in YT with the same name. I think Russian or Chechen, from the word roboto or slave in English. Slavery will never end.

3:36 5:19 7:31 Incredible focus! You can see the experience shining through. 🔥
I can honestly say that folding a cardboard box is also one of the most difficult things a human can do
the progress Aliagents is making in AI is worth paying attention to, the future is bright
the future is now 🎉🎉🎉

Makes sense that it's linked to the Stanfords University demo
Fascinating topic!
Did you say 2040?? Are they starting from scratch? 😂

What you starting from since you laughing?

🎉 awesome 🎉
can’t wait to see how Aliagents evolves, this project has serious potential in the AI space
1:52 seems it takes robots 10k hours as well
Aliagents is combining AI with tokenization in a way that could redefine the industry
Not to day but some day i will buy my amazing intelligent robot
If you re-arrange the letters in Pi-Zero it spells Skynet.
sergey levine is actually from Berkeley
Can both ChatGPT and PI be integrated within the same physical robot ?
Why would you put a lawnmower engine in a Ferrari? 😂
🎉 awesome 🎉
Ok so the takeout is, there's a robot that can fold shirts and stack eggs. Ah yes, and fold boxes. Wow.
The video was fine except for the massive Lie @ 4:42.
That is not 1x speed. Looks like 1.25x instead

Great info
Brains can learned why not AI atoms learns
The future will hopefully be pot-hole free
Why?
👍👍👍👍👍👍
Probably about 3 years behind Optimus
Human will forget to say place and than you. You don't need to be polite with a machine.
I bet one day that last line will be quoted on future History books on the section called "Early proves that we needed to exterminate Humanity".

Boson Dynamics robots are to expensive
I'm not impress somethings lacking
Ads suxs
Tesla robots are crap compared to boston dynamics and other "serious"contenders.
