In 3 years ago and 3 months ago. We rode a Red Tesla Model X for test drive at St Johns Town Center in Jacksonville FL. And we ride to the Oglethorpe Mall, Abercorn Commons and Chatham Plaza parking lot in Savannah GA.
Why were the doors opening so low and so far out from the car? Was it on some sort of mode? They should open way higher and hardly stick out from the car, right?
I noticed that too. I was thinking maybe cause of the tree next to it but then there's no tree on the passenger side. That was the first time I ever opened the falcon wing doors. It fully opened when I did that on a more open space. I had an issue with the cameras in the beginning. My Autopilot mode won't activate at all and I thought it needed to calibrate for a little bit more. After the 3rd week I finally asked for service and mobile service fixed the issue at the parking lot at work.
Aside from the small bubble on the side window, I didn't have any cosmetic issues. The first major problem I had was after 2 months my Autopilot wasn't activating. They give you a quick notice that the autopilot might not work right away when it's a brand new car but after 2 months I asked for service and it had something to do with camera calibration. It was done by mobile service so didn't have to drive anywhere.
For the price, the hood needs to be automatic open and close, just like the doors and the trunk. The ultra-red looks pretty good on it, especially with the blacked-out trim.
It adds the weight of another motor and mechanism which will deduct in a EV heavy car already 15-30 of miles of range.! Which are great if you had them.
@@daviansdad5938 Yes, we got the price and then 25% taxes (VAT) plus a little more % when its an expensive ev so either the stocks have to go higher or I´ll get a used one.
Just a few. The first issue I had was there was a bubble in one of the side windows which was found by the Window Tinting shop so they had to postpone the tinting until Tesla fixed it. Tesla did a mobile service and had to replace the window cause the windows are like a sandwich of glass and a small bubble can keep increasing in size in time. The next one was I wasn't getting Autopilot and I paid for Enhanced Autopilot. I was told I have a software upgrade pending but it never happened after a month. It turned out one of the cameras needed calibration. So that's another mobile service visit. I'm gonna make a video about a major issue I had. Stay tuned. lol
@@daviansdad5938oh sorry you had to deal with that. I found a few cosmetic issues, like gap panels and scratches on the car. Just waiting to see if the service center will tell me it’s within the Tesla specs lol. 🤦🏻♀️
The doors would be great for my 84 year old mother to take to med appt. That said, she would probably ride in the front and I would personally love this car without the gullwing doors, but I have no kids, no dog etc.
Yes it's easy for people to get in but I have to be careful when closing it. Also there are times when it doesn't fully open high up when it sense an obstruction. On this video the falcon wing door didn't open all the way up because of the tree branches I think. You can also control the suspension elevation so you can go really low when you have an elderly person going in.
Looks amazing 🔥
Great looking love the color combo.

Beautiful car. I am planning to get a model x soon in ultra red. Could you please share any build quality issues you faced?

Thanks a lot for this info. Autopilot won’t work in our country, so it won’t bother me. I will be going for midnight silver color.
I have a LRMY, that red in full sun is legit.
Bro I love this car 🚗🚗 how much price of this gourgus budy
Sticker price was about $120k.
I would close the frunk using two hands pushing down on the two sides instead of directly above the emblem. Or you risk damaging the hood or latch
He said that in the video mate

not really... 120 to 130k is a real bargain for 1000hp and so much space... you got less with a Mercedes or a BMW...

Do you really think auto frunk is the oily thing holding this car down?
Looks Red.
Мне нравится, это очень круто что так двери открываются
Wow nice may I ask how much is it the US, im from Denmark.
It's about $120K here.
@@daviansdad5938 ok thanks - here in Denmark its about 207K with taxes - please adopt me....
@@cargeek4777 lol. The price is almost double there. Wow.

Has thing been color corrected (altered) in editing software?
No. Not at all. I took the video using a Gopro 11. That's how the video came out.
❤️🔥.
🔥❤️
That's my favorite color combo. Menstrual red with sperm white interior. They call it "The Adam & Eve".
lol
I just took delivery of my model x about 1 week ago. Did you happened to find a lot of issue? Unfortunately for me I’m finding a lot..
