We did our first show in 20 months at the Memphis Rail and Trolley Museum at Memphis Central Station yesterday (Sat). It was a hoot, and wow it felt good.
Actually, I use the Woodland Scenics product Scenic Cement. It works well and ready to use. I lean towards the old fashioned eye dropper method to apply it. Whenever I try to spray it, it just goes everywhere! Hope that helps - Kevin
Kevin, Looks like you have a lot of work ahead of you. Nice running trains. I saw some wargaming miniatures in a cabinet against the wall. Did you wargame in the past or do you still do it? .....John
Actually, I stumbled onto both n-scale trains and miniatures gaming at about the same time way back in grade school. I am still very active in gaming, and have belonged to a great miniatures group here in town for over 20 years. Truth be told, one of the main reasons for me to clean out half of my basement and expand my layout into that permanent space was to clear off my game table for use. I admit that it is at times difficult to support two hobbies. My historical miniatures collection is in good shape right now, and that should allow me to concentrate on getting my layout in a similar condition over the next year or so. Out of curiosity, what is your connection to miniatures and do you also try and balance between the two hobbies? - Kevin
Kevin, I used to war game with miniatures for about 20 years ending in the early 1990s to include 25mm Napoleonics, ancient Egyptian and Roman. I also had a rather large collection of Roco mini-tanks (sold to a club in San Antonio a few years ago). I also dabbled in micro-armor (1/285 scale) for several years.....John

Love the upgrades Kevin. I have decided to use the barrier strips on this layout too. I'm liking them so far. better than the suitcase connectors

Great video as always, did you use 50/50 white glue and water for ground cover and did you spray anything on it to keep it from coming off
