      That's awesome! :D Maybe you could put a video of their growing progress? Trees are so cool to see, both when they are young and when they are older. ^_^

    Also quillworts hold their breath during the day, but for a different reason. When the sun is shining the other aquatic plants and algae in the water compete for CO2, and is quickly absorbed. So the quillworts wait till dark when the CO2 levels starts building up again, and there are no photosynthetic competitors around. So when the sun returns, they use the CO2 they have already stored during the night instead of what is available in the water.

    3:43 if you pull the one with "corn" not the grass, pull it from above, if the grass breaks from the stem that has this cirkular thing, 1-2-3 mm at the bottom of the one you pull out correctly - it taste like melon (tiny melon bite)
