F&$#@ WALMART. I quit 4 months ago. They wouldn't give me time off for my arm surgery, have to have a second- had the first 4 weeks ago. They didn't care about doctor's restrictions/orders. I busted my ass there for 3 years and saw the WEIRDEST shit. I am legally blind and the shit that would happen there was insane (on top of how rude customers could be to me.) Focusing on my art partially in thanks to you guys. Idk if you'll see this but I followed Don and Tom ever since newgrounds. You guys are awesome. You too Hunter.

The weirdest shit I saw: (I worked in electronics. I build computers and draw.... of course I work in electronics. I'm a f#^&#^& nerd.) This woman PISSED in front of my counter. Mid transaction. Fell asleep holding her cart.... I finished the transaction and got security on my phone lol.
One other one, someone pretty much cow tipped a guy who was drunk asleep on a scooter in our DVD isle. He had a BACKPACK full of MINI FIREBALL WHISKEYS .... cops had to drag him out. I have tons more, but the berating me for being blind was insane, not just from customers. That place is my Vietnam! lol.

If you are legit looking for a firearm for self-defense go take a class or find a family friend that is a bit of a gun nut to show you the ropes.
You can get something that is the size of a rifle so it's easier to control but takes pistol caliber rounds. Something that takes pistol caliber rounds is easier to take some place to practice with like at indoor ranges. If you want to have something locked up look into handguns and a quick access safe.
There are lots of options for whatever you think will work best for you and generally you can at least handle them at a shop if not rent something at a range to try it out. Different people will probably prefer different things.
11.5 AR pistol with a good brace and a good light is the wae to go. Maybe good defense rounds in the clipazine
