The uh.. reason why Cryo Ranger has two paths despite being an event tower is because she's based of on.. well... ranger. The starter tower. Most of her upgrades/stats are similar to his.
Funny thing is cryoblaster is more well suited for early modes and maps with a short track (also you can get alot of them for the price of a max ice heli so they could just burst down foes/ bosses for cheaper, but they die more easely)

it's too pricy to proves effective in trio or squad. you won't be able to freeze the knight zombie at expert wave 10. 1.5k is fine but 7.5k after, you'll stuck with lvl 1 cyro helo for a while. my glorious cyro blaster and ranger stands.
