Trial of the Hordes doesnt really take much thought, but there are some small things that make all the difference between a win and a loss. This is basically a PVE farm build with a few minor changes.
For starters, I am using the survivor paragon tree which offers a lot of defensive bonuses against demons only. I have also added in the basic form of Conjuration of Light instead of an extra movement skill like shield charge or falling sword. This is just to provide some damage immunity when the screen gets really crowded or if you get knocked off the horse or something. And lastly, I'm using the the new Heart of Grandeur chest piece for the lightning storm condemn. This has a natural larger radius without needing the legs essence to increase radius, and longer duration. With enough cooldown reduction and beneficial effect duration, it's possible to have 100% uptime on condemn with this essence. I'm pairing this with the Blinding Wall offhand that causes condemn to blind everything it hits. Together, I'm essentially blinding everything, all the time. Never any downtime.
The key is just to keep moving and let your damage over time effects + 4pc grace set bonus kill everything. This will require almost the max 30% cooldown reduction on draw and quarter as well as plenty of beneficial effect duration to be able to cast it again as soon as it drops. Also need to keep casting condemn as often as you can for the added damage as well as the constant blind effect on every target. Try to wait until elites/bosses are about to spawn on your side before using Holy Banner, then get back on the horse and just continue running. Can throw conjuration of light into the mix here wherever you think it will help avoid incoming damage.
TIPS
Neck, rings, and gloves can all have up to 5% reduced skill cooldowns, whereas the belt, boots, chest, and legs can all have up to 7.5% beneficial effect duration. Can also get beneficial effect duration as a reforge stat on all 8 primary items. Blessed Pebble gem and 2pc vithus are also required to lengthen durations.
Awakening the head slot with arrowkeeper essence will give another 10% reduced cooldown for holy banner, and awakening the shoulders OR legs will give 10% reduced cooldown for draw and quarter. There is a max of 30% reduced cooldown so if you have enough from set items and essence mastery bonuses, you only need to awaken 1 of these.
Gems like everlasting torment and seeping bile will both add an additional damage over time effect to almost everything you hit and further boost the effectiveness of the 4pc grace set. Even pain of subjugation would be useful here with everything being blinded. This would offer a nice dmg boost on every target, equal to that of berserkers eye.
Trial of the Hordes actually scales to each individual player, much like elder rifts. For this reason it is much more beneficial to have these lower tier gems at high ranks, lowering your reso and cr while keeping high dmg multipliers and awakening bonuses.

Survivor tree is good. Treasure Hunter works for orb drops FYI.
Barbarian:
I use Undaying Rage as a heal every energy orb drop, which is every pack on average. Orb drop rate is nuts with TH.
It's funny, this 2nd clip is still the only match I ever made it through all the monsters and it came down to the tiebreaker rules. All other games end in opponent dying first.
I went in there last night with my wizard to see what I needed to do. I think I came up with something that next time I play this game mode I should be able to rank all the way to the top. Did few test matches and seems others cant keep up.

I got to legend rank 1 with 94% wr as BK. My few losses came from lag and just not paying attention bc I got bored spamming games.

Made it to legend and #1 in my server for wizard, but now I've dropped to 4 and get 0 points for every win... am I capped or is it impossible to score more points once you're in legend rank?

Yes! Seen plenty of white 8k+ wings. Again, doesn't matter cuz it scales to each individual player. They face harder monsters due to their higher CR/reso. Gold 4 now and still 100%
trial of the hordes spawns the same everytime you can crack the code and time your fights even with monsters sent from other player its not hard to have, being a crusader first of all you have way less people to beat since its probably the least played class in the game, and again you went to a whale for "unbeatable" builds I have 1520 res 21047 CR , and #1 crusader in both Inf battlegrounds and Trial btw its pronounced jambow not jamboo
Lol there is no way this dude faced a strong guy with 3 or 4k res, he is just doing the most basic pve thing and winning everything? Probably on a streak against newbies
