These only look cooler than it actually is. Its completely hacked. 1. Mobs don't take THAT little damage. 2. There are pauses between the hits occasionally, the combo bar doesn't disappear 3.Reid and Farah's TP doesn't reach 999 even at max level
To do the bug, first put sharpness & deep mist as a shortcut buttons. Then cast sharpness cancel deep mist really quick. This will cause a bug and deep mist will have an effect on your own character. Just to let you know that this really takes practice and I wouldn't recommend you.
I thought I was clear, but I will try to be more explicit, how can a character like Keel or Meredy cast their craymel artes that are supposed to be used only on enemies (like distortion or deep mist) cast the same spell to allies (so you attack your allies with distortion for instance, I have seen that). Sorry for the trouble and confusion...
@MultiZantetsuken I haven't tried it myself. I read that you do it by doing Super Lightning Blade, activating Aurora Wall, then doing a jump slash just as you activate Aurora Sword. Then you can use the Guard button to control Reid's assault.
Press R1 or L1 I don't remember which... Don't let go while pressing then you can aim which enemy you want and using support magic just move the box to the character you want to heal/plus stuff... Is this what you want to ask ?
But how can you aim spells to allies, I have seen that many people using the japanese version used distortion, and deep mist to allies, how come? How you do it?
If what I saw in another vidoe was right (I never did it msyelf), you need to execute flame dance (deadly force punch punch rising skill anti-air skill flame dance), then immediately start doing a rising skill, followed by whatever combo you like. Example: Deadly Force -> Punch*2 -> Swallow Dance -> Death Blossom -> Flame Dance -> Swallow Dance -> Death Blossom -> Triple Blossom -> Chi -> Maximum Burst.
when you use support spells there are a square that you can move around to another character and if you want to aim at another enemy(magic) press R1 I think or the other(L1) i don't remember. keep it press and move left or right and let go to aim
You would have a result of the error that came about with this, because it was first released as that. Then it was realized that a direct sequel to Tales of Destiny was going to be coming out, so they had to change it. And so, if you have this for the PSX, you technically have a mislabelled version, and should seriously keep it locked away. (( More info on the Aselia wikia, if you're interested. ))
I know this vid and game is old, I just played this in PSP version just now.. so how can you execute these combos? do you have to be in manual combo command? or is it okay to perform this in manual without combo command?
i know this message is one year old, but just for the lulz i will answer it, to spam spells like meredy you need to press the jump command the moment she is casting to instant cast, after that you should smash the skills button with a certain synchro to spam spells like that, keele and his fyre ball is the best for spamming
I dont think so. It never stopped in my game, which is the european version (Tales of Destiny 2. Stupid namechanges). Also... goddamn I cant even DREAM of such combos. I was happy when Reid and Ras managed to reach a 64 hit combo :O!
can anyone tell me how to combo after using flame dance? well I hope someone can tell me how to do those combo's that use combo cancelers like the flame dance.
ok so be meredy, add a spell to shortcut, eg. R2. then jump, as your in the air or as you alnd spam the R2 button over and over again for meredy to start casting without charging. works good... i cant seem to combo above 6 with ice needles though :S maybe its cuz my characters are attacking...
