  • This movie has a gentler MPAA rating than Elf, Frozen, Arthur Christmas, Puss in Boots 2, and Paddington. In the 1980s, G and PG movies meant business. There’s a surprising amount of scary imagery, frightening concepts, child endangerment, blood, and death in this children’s film meant for all ages. The first cut of this video was ten minutes long.
The Secret of NIMH (c) Don Bluth, 1982. Video made for entertainment purposes under Fair Use.

How backwards does it feel that this movie is rated G but most animated movies from 2010s to now are rated PG but don't feel earned
