Hi Charlie, these things are so easy to make yourself, when you see how much you pay for all the clamps, Topclamps, Dori´s and so on, it all adds up in cost, if you get a cheap weldingmaschine / Helmet also Rivetnuts Tool, everything else you neeed, you would probably already have! and a and a little practice, and watch a few you tube tutorials, you can make them yourself, at very little cost. Basically nearly all the metal needed you can get as scrap metal. Over time you´ll save alot of money and also get other ideas to make life easier on site, which means setting up takes less time, which makes more money! When there´s bad weather and your not laying make a few clamps and the other ideas you have!
Must be Christmas 🌲. Great to see you sent outside in the fresh air to play with the new toys. Need another video now on small hole repair . . . Happy New Year!
Have had the nail on external ones for years used to use them on mobile home bases handy bit of kit now use them when butting up against existing buildings Dutch pin at the bottom profile on theface dori block on profile nail on clamp top of profile 👌happy new year brother 👍
Let me know how they turn out after you use them for awhile...wondering if the nail will work loose after you put tension on it and the string line is tight.. thanks for the video .!!.!!
As someone said they are made for Ozzy size bricks and barely fit , the internal clamps what go into the perp don't fit at all unless you use a 40mm profile then you can just get away with it or get a blacksmith to alter them think Ox are the same.
All the freebies they send out to the brickie channels lol handy also if had them on there site never mind them being out of stock. Amazed how they can’t this stuff in stock as it’s pretty basic to make any decent blacksmith would rattle loads of this stuff in no time.
@@lmilne4859 if they can’t keep the uk stocked with product from there Australian workshops They should manufacture it in the uk . As you say it’s pretty basic stuff .
@@lmilne4859 G'day guys. Simon the owner of BT here. Yeah 2020 was a nightmare to be honest, as you can imagine dealing with COVID and production shut downs, then back, then shutdown made it very difficult. Then you couldn't get a spot on a ship for love nor money, then our wharfies here in Aus went on strike - it never ended.. Bloody nightmare. I really apologise about the stock, we've just ordered some more machines from Germany to keep up this year, they arrive in March. 2021 should be much better once we get properly back up and running. The stock we send to youtubers is a fraction of what we make. We do tens of thousands of items each month, so half a dozen to youtubers is not material. We are just a small business trying to grow. Cheers for the support and hope you had a great Christmas break!
Looks very good them would be handy if they had some extra holes along the bar would handy you never no. Don’t why they do that BT and not even have them stocked on there site.
So easy to make theses yourself Buy the normal ones, grind off the end return that sits in a perp, drill a hole Shh’ting use nails or screw, But don’t u dare do it, it’s my idea

Possibly meant more for timber frame housing ?
no it is for brickwork apparently 👍🏻
could be right there cos most building in ossy land is timber framed studding
@@CharlieCollison just looked them up on the BT Engineering Australian website and they are meant for brickwork.
I see a Charlie Collison video, I stop what I'm doing and click, it's that simple! Keep up the good work bud, no way your channel can't blow up!
Nice , easy to make actually !
It is and they never have nothing in stock
Any general masonary nails will work if you loose others
They would struggle to get a true "bite" on green mortar from previous day
Gone are the days of dutch pins. Can we still get discounts of bts clamps if we quote charlie collison
Yep!
bet the neighbours love you 🤣

Just nail it in the bed joint ...goes wherever then 😉
Nifty clamps mate
Do you think the nails will bend and get paggered? Are they replaceable? Hope your neighbour is a youtube subscriber and is understanding!
any masonery nail will do that charlie
Look great them 👍👍

Yep, most of they're stuff is always out of stock????
Nice clamp great idea, but as with most BT gear it's always out of stock.
I am on the way
Agree Antony
Starting work tomorrow, In the UK so probably going to rain 🤣
Works great 👍🎅🏻👍
GOOD IDEA
You can nail that into blocks

They look the dogs.
Nice to see the steel toe cap sandals. Safety third!
loving the flip flops
Vandalism Charlie 😂

Charlie, real quick, serious question... is your girlfriend single? x'D
Nice flip flops 😂😂😂
Theyre similar to the ones Jay uses on youtube! You seen his channel? He's belgium
No more chipped bricks 👌🏼🧱👍🏼
Clamps are made for Australian brick sizes so are useless for English bricks and a 50 mm profile
Noticed that not much to play with on the thread
Just nail it in the bed joint...goes wherever then 😉
They fit UK as well mate, it is snug though. Next batch I'll make some slightly different to fit a bit easier Cheers
@@btengineeringbrickiestools5797 why not do a legged version for green mortar seen long F clamps used many many years ago on site
Won't work with softer joints !
Bit of snagging to do this afternoon then mate? Lol
Ox do the same thing.
Cushty 👍👍
Be good on celcons
First comment, fuck yeah!
