awesome review, very in depth and informative, I've been searching for the perfect budget laptop for quite a while! also this might seem weird but you seem like a very nice and genuine person:)
Thank you very much Μαριλένα Κατσιώτη for your lovely words, they really heart felt =). Good luck in your search for a good laptop, do look into the latest AMD Ryzen versions of Lenovo or any brand my testing on them have been very surprising and you will find them cheaper and even better performing as well.

The timing of this video is just perfect ! Would you recommend this laptop for online classes? Basically, zoom meetings, researching and note typing.. Also, do you think it's durable enough to last me a couple of years? Awesome review btw :D
The person who own's the laptop does the exact same tasks you are referring to, and from my feedback from them is yes it does extremely well and the fact that you can quickly flip it into note taking mode with the pen is really handy. I was told a lot of their class mates are jealous they could do that, as they mostly have Macbook Pro/Air plus iPad to handle the same tasks and this laptop is all in one device!

Can it support programs like Autocad or Sketchbook and if this laptop have any problem with overheating? I love your channel, keep it up you are great!:)
Hi Marianne, thanks for the feedback its very nice to hear. The computer you have speced up I would suggest to try get 16GB RAM, you find you might need that for Autocad., heat wise it isn't bad.
@@deans6571 don't be afraid to use the pen, the unit I had the screen didn't show any visible scratches, and I know the pen was used a bit on that unit.
I've been using the pen quite often to take notes, It has been kind of uncomfortable with the position, but not to the extent I hate it. Although I was surprised by the battery life It has been about 2 to 3 weeks and the battery has drained, I heard that they last two months What about you guys?
Do you know if you can use the USB-C port to connect to a Thunderbolt dock? I know it won’t power the laptop, this is fine as I will still use the power cable anyway - just wondering if the port can be used to connect to a network via a dock?!
hi question :) do you think the usb-c port for this laptop would work on plugging in a condenser microphone? (since the cable for its connection is a type-c). I ran out of USB ports to put it in since I use it for my keyboard and mouse. Thank you!!
Late in seeing your post, Pat. I use a Blue Microphones, Snowball iCE. The iCE uses condenser mic elements. My mic has a miniUSB to USB A cable, so I use a USB A to USB C adaptor to use my mic with my Lenovo. I don't know if Blue has updated the iCE to have a USB C socket and USB C to USB C cable. It's a solid entry level mic for Zoom meetings and vlogging.
Nice video loved it But I have a question I have an i7 8th gen variant with nvidida mx230 and 8gb of ram but when I play games like gta v even on medium setting i get max 30 fps and it mostly lags at 17 fps idk why, Is there some system settings problem or is the laptop not that powerful
Hi Robert, I looking to hopefully get 7550 out by the end of this week and 7750 next week. I'm currently editing the video to help with decision for the 7550 right now.
Sorry I didn't cover the webcam, it is a 720p, nothing special about it, most laptop these days all come with 720p webcam and video and mic usually all about the same so I never bother covering that aspect in my reviews like other people do. If it has 1080p webcam I will mention in my reviews as that's not industry standard on laptops yet.
If you are editing 1080p footage it can do, 4k footage it will struggle a lot. Video editors I would advise to look for one that has a discrete graphics, there aren't 2-in-1s that have ability to have discrete graphics.
@@BsianTech The q4 2019 Lenovo C340 15IWL which you were reviewing, _has_ a discrete GPU. Nvidia MX230, with 2Gb of dedicated RAM. Not a powerhouse GPU, but definitely a discrete GPU. You can set the laptop to use the Nvidia GPU globally all the time, or on a per-app basis. On my C340 I use per-app. With the replacement model for the 15IWL, in q1 2020, Lenovo dropped the discrete Nvidia GPU.

can it run 144hz monitor ?
Unfortunately I am unsure as I don't own any gaming monitors, hopefully another viewer of this viewer might be able to help answer your question.
