You taught yourself the difference between straightening things up and actually organizing. What a great job! I watch boatloads of craft room organizing videos for inspiration and the finished product often looks like the current condition of my craft room which is straightened but certainly not organized. You did it right. I loved this.

Great Job, We don't know what we have til we go through it. I seen Tracy Creates take her ribbon off the spools and wrap them around flat chip board or stiff cardboard and using pins to keep them on. It takes up way less space. Thank you for your video !

You can donate crafting supplies to schools, community programs (eg: Boys and Girls clubs) , maybe even senior centers.

Such a great idea! The box is still sitting in my car waiting to be brought to the donation center. But I will look into those first before I do! I usually bring everything to our salvation army, I'm not a fan of goodwill.
Nice job! Love the cabinets. Just might want to consider the “topple factor” - heavy things above that could fall on children if they accidentally get in and start climbing like that sewing machine. 😀 congrats on new baby! How exciting!
Very good point! That sewing machine is extremely heavy and could definitely hurt a toddler trying to climb up there. When our kiddos are older and able to get into these cabinets I'll definitely be redoing them. For now they have really strong locks on them.

no idea why but at 1:09 your daughter coming in and closing the gate carefully behind her cracked me up. She looks like a little woman on a mission did she pick up a bag to start helping? Super cute.
Oh she was definitely on a mission! She is only 1 and a half, so all she wanted to do was play with and try and figure out everything. I like to think she wanted to help though, haha!
When storing paints so you can just see the tops of the lids, this is my trick: when I check to make sure they are not dry, I put a bit of the paint on the top of the lid. That way I can see the colors at a glance. You can use a q-tip to make the dot with no cleanup,

You're not keeping the desk? Would it fit between the tall cabinets? What kind of baby locks did you put on the tall cabinets? Everything looks so great!
The baby locks we used are from Amazon, I love them! They are magnetic and completely hidden. We use them all throughout our home. Here is the link: amzn.to/2UHTROS
We just put up some cubbie shelves between the cabinets so that we can store Cecilia's toys in baskets and it will look a lot nicer. The desk is huge, and completely unnecessarily big and super heavy! It was great for our office, but won't work in the play room very well. So we sold it this past weekend. (Which ended up paying for the cubbies! It was almost like a trade haha)

Can you name the board ued to make cupboards
It's made of several different types. The frame is regular 2x4, the sides and front are made out of 3/4" plywood and a couple differ 1x4's. The shelves are 3/4" plywood as well. The cabinet doors are made out of poplar around the frame and 1/4" birch plywood on the front.
We had gotten our wood from Lowes. Let me know if I answered your question, or if you have any others 😊
