Mkuru am not sure about the exact details but I heard from trusted source that apa kwa CU room, the chair person held to the door for about 15 mins receiving bullets and that allowed over 45 people to escape through the back windows... Though he died he is 1 of the unsung heroes

My nephew alilalishwa but in the nick of time aliamka then he jumped through that ka_small window iko kwa toilet . He landed head first and made for the fence. Lucky enough, the sniper was facing the gate while he was running in the opposite direction. We thank God for rescuing him. May the souls of the departed rest in power.

Leo I've gathered courage to watch this. Mutuma was my baby cousin (the guy that went back for his girl) identifying his body was too traumatic. Btw his girlfriend had been very close to him alikua amejificha. She made it out without a scratch. We think he put up a fight coz he was shot multiple times and his throat was slit.
So sorry for your loss. That was a courageous young man.

So sad. I vividly remember this day. As a former 1 pale Garissa high school (a kilometre from the University) niliamshwa na dorm captain so that I can go to mosque for morning prayers. Exactly 5:27am nikikojoa outside the dormitory nilisika mlio wa risasi. Quatre an hour later I could see hundreds of students amongst ladies with only bikini and bra bila viatu who luckily survived from the shameful incident wakipita next to our school fence.

This story is so sad, the system failed the security forces big time, there are alot of unanswered questions as it relates to the story, seems there was a click in the forces that was compromised. Thank you for the good work.
You know why this is so emotional to me? I was in a top hotel in Garissa at the same time the planners are said to have been in the same hotel. Two days after I left, they hit the institution. Wait, it was truly God's grace that we are all alive. We have danger all around us. God protects us. I feel very sad for those that left us. I identify personally with each of the victim.

i remember i was in class 7 then and our headmistress's son was one of the 148 who lost their lives. He was shot in the head and he could barely be recognised. May GOD give comfort to all who lost their loved ones.😓😓😓😓

Recce travelled by road to garissa 370kms 6hrs..I worked In Garissa for four years and I never had the courage of visiting the university..I used to pass by the gate but My friend I never had the courage..some of the hostels still had the bullet holes on the walls you could see them from the roa..scary place
