You do have a good point. The reason I use it because it's supports Libgdx which is pretty optimized. I ways able to achieve over 60 Plus frame rate on a old 2GB android 9 device. Plus it includes a lot of native code support from C++ which is one of my old programming languages I started working with. If you ever tried the newer version of Java they're pretty optimized. But don't get me wrong the language dose have some memory problems, but I think it's a good challenge that can be addressed. Don't worry, the game will be very optimal for low end devices. 😉
It has some memory problems, but the app size of libgdx apps is still much smaller than app sizes of games made in unity, unreal and godot.@@PhilipModDev

Thank you.
GOTY?
I wonder why people use java for game development, it's kind of a trash language.

@@PhilipModDev understandable. It's good to make games eligible for low end devices.
