I was mildly enjoying it until I spotted the dude in the top hat and black cape. He looked so fabulously out of place that I couldn't help but love it.
The enchantress would've looked better if her hair was down. She didn't put up her hands like a ballerina and if she didn't walk backwards holding the rose like whe was saying 'Come little boy!! You want a cookie? Come follow me!!' Those are the improvements they have to work on!!
My high school is doing this as well and we are renting all the costumes and building a rotating set piece that will be used in about five different scenes! I'm going out for the part of Ms. Pots.
This one doesn't seem that bad but you should really check out BSHS Beauty and the Beast. For being a highschool production I think that Highschool did a phenomenal job. Their sets, orchestra, technology, and acting were amazing!
@xylogirl6 sorry but just out of interest i was wondering why you thought her head voice needed work - is it just me or isnt it strong enough to come across as slightly softer chest voice?
Gaston's voice is a little too high with his dialogue... I think his character would have had a better development if he spoke deeper, even if his natural voice is pitched higher. He doesn't seem too manly. Otherwise, it's a decent show :)
WELL....when Belle sung the part "Till Chapter Threeeee" She kinda BROKE charecter.....and trust me I COULD TELL.....it was kinda just how she put up the fingers, but just by her doing that i could COMPLEATLY tell her personality!!!:).......BUT other then that i guess i was ok!!!:)
Good but I think Geston (or however u spell it) is just a tiny bit over dramatic I mean I know he is suppose to be but still. It was still good who are you?
as an young actress we all watch U-tube were no different then any one else except we do different things we often come here to study for a part we were given we also give constructive criticism to help if we can to help other young actresses or actors. so what you said kinda hurt me because it kinda sounds (to me) like your saying were so different we don't do what others do
No emotion? no, there is some, not much, and its happy. She's supposed to be sad about being stuck in the same town with the same rutiene(sp?) every day.... But no, not on key

...It isn't bad for a high school production ? They should have worked on A LOT - It looks like you they just practiced for a week and let it go...Nobody was cued in with the music, at all - and Belle needed a lot more vocal work. A LOT.

I do like this very much, it's good for a high school level, but I don't like the parts where they look towards the audience when it isn't needed.
We had at least 60 people in the cast. I think it was somewhere around 64.

as a constructive criticism i would suggest that belle is more "odd" ...maybe get more excited about the book?? or when talking be more animated?
