I'm glad you decided to retry this. The campaign is hard enough as is, and you are almost done. Edit: The Constellation ship is OBSCENE. Good luck Phros because my god that thing is terrifiying Edit 2: Brutal Cliff Hangar Phrosssss. Uggggh I need the next episoddddeee
Getting rid of escape pods means fewer pesky "rescue crew" events at the crash site. War crimes only exist in the eye of the beholder, and if there are no eyes...
Man what an incredible series - can't wait for the finale!! The custom campaign was what first introduced me to this channel and I'm thankful for that, it's been a wild ride (here's to many more)!
19:02 The Donut is aware. The Donut understands. The Donut has seen the enemy. Also hopefully after this series is completed and do the Flight to hara vera mod, we can finally have medium to capital ship playthrough.
YUSSSS Citizen Sleeper also has much of the resource management while plying an RPG that this game has, though it's turn based and thus involves less real-time stress
5:39 YES do that. I had the same issue in my campaign with a damaged cruiser. Quit the game, reloaded later, and the cruiser was gone. Let's not get the Thunderbolt eaten *again* Edits and spoilers below I think in the previous attempt, you were getting detected early on when there were early-game ships everywhere. We gave *all* of the early game ships strategic weapons except for the Courageous. Now, you're fighting the later-game garrison ships, which we largely turned into scary close combatants, with a lot fewer strategic options to follow up on detections with. I'd recommend larger groups with the gun-runs. They'll stay in a group and collectively have enough gun to shoot something down, while groups of two likely won't get to kill anything, but might meaninglessly damage everything. Never mind, the two planes did remarkably well there.

I love how this game implies 3D space by swapping the 2D plane between vertical and horizontal.
sticky keys jumpscare warning
Glad we get to see the thunderbolt again!
"Oops, did not mean to fire on that escape pod."
Be sure to repeat that for the tribunal, Phros.

Nice to see the Thunderbolt again! Also @12:18 Car ship is hilarious :)
I think he made the right choice. It's a lot more enjoyable to watch it fight, then have it just die on the ground from wonkey game mechanics
@@Philtehsamuraiwalrus Definitely :)
Feels good to hear you again man.

59:54 Citizen Sleeper. i know it's not the type we see in this channel but your commentary will be great with this game.

Agreed, It’s An Amazing Experience
Endgame is gonna be crazy. Can´t wait to see it. Great campaign so far!
Phros: "we've taken a big bite out of the donut."
me: 😏
Now this is some propper fleet battle. Glad you picked up the game again!
It's good to hear you're feeling better.
Also that Constellation class is going to be an interesting fight.
If you're looking for games Jagged Alliance 2 seems like it would be right up your alley.
Would love to see a 1.13 play through. JA2 is right up his alley.

1 hours of highfleet, my week is saved. just like that thunderbolt :)
The return of Thunderbolt!
dear god
They've done it... the begining of, *Nuclear war*
I think the additional blurriness and glitching is meant to represent radioactive fallout messing with your equipment.
your puppy has good timing lol.
hell yeah !
Yes!! Awesome 👍
56:07 By all the Gods in humanity...
what can be done against that monster ???
Nukes. Lots of nukes.
i put Highfleet story on the same level and woe i feel from homeworld.
When you sell a ship, it's parts appear in the parts shop.
Nice to see the thunderbolt back in action. Wasn't there a hidden city near the lord governor tho?
just finished watching to the end,. This ending is going to be so epic, can't wait until next week to see how it all ends. Good job man!
46:19 Moment when the Governor moved to Khiva.
Except he didn't?!
you can permanently disable the sticky key, maybe worth doing.
Puppy may have tried to give you some tips during te fight :)
Dog commentary was awesome. She made some good points. Get her on the show more often plz.
