    Sweet bike Kelly! I've got a 2021 TE250 purchased from International Moto, awesome bike! Never rode that trail "The PIT" but I'll have to check it out soon. Cool vid!

    How do you like the gearing on the TX compared to a TE? Is that second gear pretty fast?

    Do you have a rekluse clutch? I didn’t see you use the clutch at all.. I’m looking at switching to 2 strokes for the lug ability.

    Great trail! Where is it? What did you change you rear spring to? How do you find the stock front end?

      Trail is near Chilliwack BC. Rear spring is a 51kg and the front aer fork is fantastic
      Much better than pre 2021.

      I weigh 225lbs with no gear. Rear spring is a 5.1 and the forks are pumped up to 152lbs.

    I'm 6'3" and 285 lbs. Is the TX250, TX300i or the TE300i the better choice? I want to drive both on a motocross track and on trail. I'm not an advanced driver.

      tx models have AER forks and better gearing for mx. If you want to MX the bike here and there, definitely the TX model.

      @@thomasknapp7236 Thanks. I've spent alot of time watching reviews and stuff, and I think the 2021 Sherco 300 SE Factory would be the ultimate bike for me. After rethinking things, I will likely do mostly enduro and single trail style riding. Currently loosing some weight to make it a bit easier and more fun. Down to 267 lbs so far, aiming for 210 which is a good weight for me.

      @@viperracing2889 might as well get the 2022! I almost went with that bike. I rode that, the Beta 200rr race, TE300i and the TX300I. All 2022. I went with the TX300i. It still lugs great, but has that fun hit that the TE lacks. The 4 strokes are awesome...but where I live, the 2 stroke holds their value so much better. Every single one of those bikes will do more than I'm capable of! But I'm into backcountry single track. Not extreme hard enduro. Elk scouting and playing around. The 200rr race from beta was very impressive. But the punch and the fork setup with the gearing on the 2022 TX300i was so fun. I couldn't resist. Good luck on your choice! Any one of those is a great choice

      @@thomasknapp7236 Thanks. The 2022 would be out of my budget I think. They cost US$11,685 new over here (Sweden). The only 2021 I found cost US$6,800 with 100 hours on it. The only secondhand 2022 I've found only has 5 hours on it and so they are asking US$10,470 for it.
      There are lots of 4-strokes available, but I worry that they will be too expensive in maintenance for me. A fully "mechanical" 2-stroke like the Sherco Factory or Beta Racing Edition would probably be the cheapest to own I figure (no oil injection or fuel injection).
      The 4-strokes might be a bit easier to ride, but I think the 300 2-strokes comes in at a close 2nd, and they can do everything. So I'm leaning towards that. A secondhand 4-stroke would be alot cheaper in purchase price though.
      Lot's of 4-strokes to choose from here from all brands, even many WR250Fs to choose from. But those might be a bit too weak for someone my weight perhaps. Very good looking bikes though, the Yamahas.

      @@viperracing2889 oh I hear you there. A newer 2nd hand 2 stroke is crazy. Might as well go new at that point. The 4 strokes will go for a loooong time without major maintenance. I always hear these battles about cost of maintenance between the 2. I have buddies that have been riding the same 4 stroke on the same top end for years without any maintenance. One of my buddies has a 2010 WR450 that hasn't even needed a valve adjustment. I suppose ppl get caught up thinking they will need to maintain like a pro racer does. But most ppl won't ride near as hard or often. Good luck on your choice! Anything with a motor and 2 wheels is a blast to ride.

    I’m so jealous of that bike!!! I was wondering if you have the slavens idle screw mod in it can idle hood without having to mess with the air bypass screw because that isn’t really a idle screw.

      I have just ordered the screw. I have a rekluse so I had to lean out the air screw to get the idle higher
      I will install the screw as soon as possible and richer the fuel mixture.

      BTW the bike is awesome. I had a 17,18and 2019 TX. The front forks work fantastic out of the box and the bike runs super clean.

      I have the 2022 and fitted the idle modification screw before I took it out and I can assure everyone, it makes a huge difference. The bike copes with low speed gnarly stuff so well.
