@@oksobatdunguygy i agree to some extent, that is why you need to learn by playing by yourself or in coop and also watch tutorials on youtube if you wanna be tank crewmen or take a more specialized role, it will take time and practice and yes not all more experienced players welcome new ones, but every now and then you could find someone who is willing to teach and help, and trust me, there are some of the best moments in gaming history in this game, good luck.

Tried project reality the other day. Thought it would be good for me since i am a huge arma 2 player. Had to join a russian server, no one spoke english so i tried to hack my way through using the little russian i've learned by hearing russian voicelines in other games. 2/3 they don't understand what i am saying, but i don't blame them. at least they don't kick me out.
But in the end i don't like it.
The game is good, always liked realistic mechanics. But in the end it's just a more unforgiving BF2. I dislike having to die by an unseen enemy and having to respawn a mile away, often with no vehicles.
Thinking about it, most of arma's multiplayer games are like this too. No wonder i've always played my own missions in the editor alone.
